When it happened, I later used the jellybean AOSP on XDA to bring it back.

But right now, am using AOSP KitKat remodded by Aaarinze.
Your phone will be back bro.

Use kingroot, then you can install SuperSU and remove the king user after.

ARINZE THANKS FOR THE ROM.
FOR THOSE HAVING SUPER issues once u flash the rom i resolved mine by flashing in a flashable zip of SU via CTR mode

( CTR recovery)ok...


If u already have the recovery mode CTR installed in your gionee m2 and ur still on stock jb and u wish to update to kitkat pls download the arinze rom and flash it via CTR recovery mode

We all know all custom ROMs out there has a minor or major bug, but am glad to present you our very own remodded Stock Android AOSP and its a 99% if not 100 stable custom rom modded by me..

Fixed the major bug found in all custom ROMS out there which is the rear camera not working on most of the gionee M2's out there..

After downloading, reboot into recovery, select "Wipe Menu" then choose "Wipe All Data Preflash" & after its done go back & "Install zip" locate the downloaded files and flash..


Note : You must be running "Stock KitKat" before you can flash this rom..
So far no bug has been reported...

install and open
go to engineer mode
then enter

you will see engineer mode mtk
enter

then swipe to the right
enter CDS information

you will see radio information
enter it

you will now see
phone 1(sim 1)
phone 2(sim 2)

choose the one you want to change the imei to either phone 1 or phone 2

if its phone 1(sim 1)

enter phone 1
then you will see AT+
just type E

then a pop up will show choose the first option
that is
AT+EGMR=1,7" "
then type your imei between the ""

so if your imei is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

then type it like this into the ""
I.e AT+EGMR=1,7" xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

(IF YOU'RE ON KITKAT LEAVE A SPACE BETWEEN THE AT and the +)

then press send command

no need to reboot
just turn on airplane mode and turn it off again then your imei is changed


If its phone 2(sim 2)

enter phone 2
then you will see AT+
just type E

then a pop up will show choose the second option

AT+EGMR=1,10" "
then type your imei between the ""

so if your imei is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
