current sales is for existing business, expected sales is for new business. how much sales do you expect to make monthly then multiply by 12 to get annual sales. the units is the number of items you need to sell to make that sales. if you sell eggs wholesale then a crate of eggs is your unit, if you retail then an egg is your unit.

Seasonality has to do mostly with agric produce. If you are into palm oil bottling there is seasonality because palm oil is not available all year round but if you package salt or have a hair dressing saloon, there is no seasonality because the raw materials are readily available.

Thanks Bro. Finally, What amount of sales, in Naira per month, must you achieve to reach profitability? Does it mean that the monthly net profit before deduction e.g. after deducting salaries and expenses Or the total net profit without deducting anything yet? This is the line delaying me now.

If you set up a biz with 10M and you start running it. Then in 12months, after paying all bills (salary, tax, rents, power charges etc) you were able to save 10M (ie money invested in the biz) that's the break even point!

Now answer this simple question. If you invest 6M in a biz and you sell 1M monthly (500k goes for salary, tax, rents, power charges etc in a month) How many months will you reach profitably or break even? Seasonality observed!
