Lemme talk abt this permit issue, u guys don't seem to get wat Siga is sayin. Wen u apply to CIC using study as the reason for your application, what u are granted is a TRV, so that thing they put on ur passport is not ur study permit, it doesn't permit u to study, It just permits you to travel. When u arrive at the international airport, u would be interviewed by an immigration officer who could ask for any document to proof ur stand, he/she is the one who gives u ur study permit. Now on the study permit, it is boldly written that "this doesnot permit re-entry". So u cannot enter into Canada without a valid visa! U can stay in Canada even after ur visa has expired, no body would ask u shit! As long as u don't leave Canada cos u won't b able to get in without a visa! COMPRENDE 7 Likes |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by ada4all: 6:20pm On Jan 09, 2015 |
silkyhair: You can pay online for IELTS. Just Google their website you will be guided on what to do. I heard paying at their office is actually more expensive. That's how I paid mine. |

Bellniki1: Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, asking the guys in HR/Admin is tantamount to asking the Boss. They are all part of the ruling 'cabal'. I'm thinking of using my bank statement in place of the pay slip as someone else advised here. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by pampem: 8:24pm On Jan 09, 2015 |
silkyhair:@ silkyhair, you can get a draft drawn from your bank account (any bank) IFO British council @38k + lil charge. |

jaylinaaa: Thank you very much your helpful response. Yeah, you're right, I am applying for a work permit not study.(I think I mentioned that in my last post) If I can't come up with any grand plan to get the employee reference letter, I'll go with your suggestion of employment letter and id card. and also probably use my account statement in place of pay slip. I just hope it doesn't carry any severe implications for my application. Thanks again. |

Hello Guys, Please After Landing in Canada on a study permit visa, how soon can someone invite his /her spouse for a visit? Someone said at least after spending first 6 months in Canada. I don't know how true that is |

Hello House, I got an admission with lambton college for instrumentation and control engineering, I can't seem to wrap my head around why I need a study leave letter(2yrs)from my company(huawei technologies), I honestly feel is ' laughable' cuz NO company gives such leave. Please house is this letter compulsory? Kindly advise...Brilliant house! |

Hello fellows. Please really want a clarification for someone applying for Tourism with members of his family. 1.) Does he need to complete a separate form (IMM5257E) for each and every member of his family travelling with him or 2.) Just by completing his own IMM5252E and family information form (IMM5645E) where there is indication for those members of his family that will be travelling with him? 3.) If (1) above is the correct approach, will it means every member will pay the CAD185? Thank you for your anticipated response. |
