backtosender:On one hand you yell that they are Igbos, on another hand you call them inferior genes. It is a shame on your part because I know the Ikwerres very well. Their land is blessed, they are peaceful with neighbours and are not covetous. They have never schemed to be Igbos. In fact, it is the other way round. It is funny how you guys say ills of Ijaws, Ikwerre, Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani, Igala etc and yet you will be the one to cry that nobody likes you. 1 Like |

OdenigboAroli: True. We are slowly re inventing ourselves politically and economically, our votes now matters because we now vote as one, with unity of purpose, little wonder an Amaechi is now coming back to his senses. We are saying the same thing bro, but from different perspective. I speak of unity, while you speak of ways we can build the unity. If we make a success of ourselves, like an insect to a nectar, the rest of Igbo speaking people would identify with us. 8 Likes |

HopeAtHand: **grins** Nobody is blaming anybody. We as one of the most educated, popular and respected Nation(Igbo) in Africa have the right to set records straight and that we have done ultimately. World respected Igbo intellectuals and historians have written countless book and records and the truth is available for the world to read. You are inconsequential Sir. Your Ikwerre tribe have not made anyone proud in Nigeria, not even your drunk tombo-drinking selves. **LOLS** 6 Likes |

OneNaira6: Good one! Ikwerre chose to disassociate themselves from the igbos because of OIL. Now that oil has served them no good and oil prices falling/monthly allocation, they are now regretting this. We in Cross River and Akwa Ibom have never and will not deny our Igbo brothers. We stood with them before the war, during the war and have maintained a cordial relationship with them. Ikwerre can keep living in denial; they have no importance whatsoever to the Igbos. The Igbos already have a powerful house in Delta called the Aniomas. Aniomas have never denied thier igbo heritage and brothers. They see themselves as Igbos. Today, they control the banking and financial sector of this country. 19 Likes 3 Shares |

Chiwude: I get your drift,Nwanne ; But I thought it was a common knowledge that these people need us more than we need them. I mean, whats the population of Ikwerre? Where are they in the scheme of things in Nigeria....Ijaw sef is way more powerful than they are. Ikwerre is just another inconsequential nobodies like Ika group. We dignify their irrelevance and make them feel so important by discussing these losers. It hurts me deep in the heart when I see my people fighting over Ikwerre and Ika like we have something to gain from them....Its really embarrassing. 4 Likes |

ozoigbondu:Okay see your foolishness... is an Okrikan different from Izon? Who is an Izon? Who is an Okrikan? anyway let me educate you. Okrika is a Kingdom within Ijaw Nation also called Izon. Every Izon belongs to a Kingdom, every member of Okrika Kingdom belong to a clan "biri". I am from Okrika Kingdom within the Izon nation. May ignorance not take over you... btw, why are some of you biafraudians on my tail? I am causing damage isn't it? Just like Isaac Adaka Boro did Thank me later |
Re: Amaechi: I’m Igbo, Jonathan Who Says His Name Is Ebele Can’t Speak The Language by Nobody: 1:29am On Jan 10, 2015 |
Igbos should let Ikwerres be. No matter how you look at it, you can't make one Igbo and you can't take away Igbo from someone. One is either born Igbo or not, irrespective of what one decides to be called tomorrow. Your comments really hurt those Ikwerre that are proud Igbos just like you and I. It's totally unfair. I don't know how I would feel if my ethnicity is questioned because I might lose my head. It's just that bad. For those that are saying Ikwerre want to belong to Igbo groups in diaspora, it's very mean to even contemplate denying them their birthright. Some Ikwerre might be annoying with their identity crisis, but many are very proud Igbo. Chibike Amaechi, as far as I know, never denied being Igbo. If he did, shows us where? He just reminded people that he is an Igbo man and that is it though I think it's not necessary because we know he is Igbo. 4 Likes 1 Share |

emmysoftyou: Commend your honesty. Find it funny that more than 25% of Ikwerres are married to the Igbos. Former governor Peter Odili is married to an igbo woman. Gov. Rotimi Ameachi is married to an Igbo woman from anambra. By laws of probability, if two successive governors can be married to igbo women, imagine millions of ordinary ikwerres. My point is they are tied to the Igbos by heritage and by marriage. They only disassociate themselves for geopolitical reasons...OIL. let's see how long this stup$id adventure will last since oil have served them no good, dwindling in price, no more excess allocation to share, and oil seem to be phasing out. They are in a very tight corner now...hahaha! KARMA is a bitc$h 3 Likes |

OneNaira6: OdenigboAroli:Liar and Coward! If you have balls, why not face the Yorubas? You can face MayorofLagos, desola, pataki , eggheaders etc. I won't speak for the yoruba nation, but whenever you try to misinform or denigrate the Ijaw nation, Okrika Kingdom or even Major Isaac Boro, I won't hesitate to straighten things up though I will avoid as much as I could to sound tribalistic. 1 Like |

new2020:thanks my Mmoño brother... when the time comes, the SE,Anioma and AKS would form a tripod that would rule this country.let ikwerres for now continue making noise kos of PH that was built by an Igbo and a few oil wells that would soon be useless. Rivers must be forced to return these areas 1]oyigbo LG to Abia 2]ONELGA to Imo 3]andoni,bonny & opobo LGs to AKS when this is finished, ikwerres and ogonis would've no option than fight on the streets of PH for governorship of Rivers state. 3 Likes |
