I am presently at the wedding reception of a neighbour. And typical of most 'Chairman' of wedding receptions, this particular one started with a sermon that extols the virtues of Holy Matrimony and concluded that the new hubby is now a responsible man.

Last time I checked, neighbour is one of the most responsible men I know. Hard working, courteous and generous, this guy despite living alone as a bachelor for a long time is very decent and not a womaniser.

Now my question is this, what suddenly makes neighbour a 'responsible' man? If it is because he just got newly married, does that make other married folks who keep numerous lovers and engage in indecent living irresponsible?

No. I have seen lots of irresponsible married men.

A man is not responsible because he is married, but because he chooses to be responsible.

Nope! Being married gives a man responsibilities bt it doesnt make him responsible.

Cos 2 married men are currently begging me to date them.

Although some men (40%) are responsible nd faithful to their spouse but d remaining 60% of em are not responsible.

Being married doesnt tie a man from chasing after other women..its an individual trait..Some men try to hide that side of them when married but for others, it jxt aint possible..@Lanicky

Being Responsible is a personal choice.. Marriage isnt a complete reason to certify a man,Responsible..

Marriage usher in responsibilities. Its accepting dis responsibilities dat makes him responsible.

Also in d single world. Dere are responsibilities. Its accepting dis responsibilities dat makes him or her a responsible guy or lady.

Not that an act of the almighty cannot change a Man for good.But to be sincere old habits rarely fade.If his mind is keen on changing,and becoming responsible,with or without matrimony he will and so it is vice versa. The only diff btwn responsible and Irresponsible is the prefix "ir"
Between the almighty and the devil..there is the human mind which is very discreational in nature.so choose ur destiny.
