Hello gurus in the house I would appreciate your opinion on this issue.Which of these Strong receivers SRT 4669X and SRT 4669XII would you recomend for tracking and tuner sensitivity? Is there any other thing that make one better than the other assuming they are all genuine receivers.I need to make a choice.

Irib channels are now on intelsat 902 @ 62 degree east ku band satellite. Pls lets confirm if 90cm dish can hunt these channels. The tp is 11555 V 30000 and. Im not opportuned to hunt satellite signal for now,i would av done so myself. But any opportuned FTA hobbyist in d house can confirm this for the house

I get irib in lagos with 1.35m dish though now rusted to pieces due to ocean proximity.

smileeeee in japan style.......that signal is not easy to track at all but keep trying u will get it. I spent 4days to nail it here in abuja. U can track it anytime

Can you please measure the straight length of yours starting from the bend (from under the dish) to the lnb holder.

Pls all gurus with idea should help, though i knew i'm posting on the wrong thread.

Hallo, for strong 4950M,

Save software under USB(empty) flash drive and rename it as “rom.bin” Insert the USB into receiver. Switch main power ON while pressing several times (2 or 3 times while main power is inserted) the “Power” key on remote control. Receiver will auto detect the software and download it. Report back if successful.

Please use the official strong software after the receiver is back to life you can patch it with your preferred software.
I have never tried it but some forum members successfully resurrected their srt4950 receivers.

Press MENU => System Setting => Database Reset => Factory Set => Press OK.
Manual-Scan Multi TV using 12522 V 27000-Auto.

It makes no sense constructing an 8X1 DiSEqC out of 3 Nrs 4X1 when it's available in the market.Remember you have insertion loss of each of the 4X1 DiSEqC to contend with.
