Why 2000 Killed In Nigeria N'East Baga Is Not World Headlines: Jonathan Condemns Paris Attack, By Perry Brimah The single most deadly event of global terrorism in recent human history failed to make global headlines for obvious reasons—it happened in Nigeria. On Saturday the 3rd of January, Boko Haram terrorists from Nigeria and Chad stormed Baga fishing town in Borno state and after discharging the multinational forces stationed, begun what will be the worst massacre and single event of ethnic cleansing of the current century. Amnesty International estimates that up to 2000 people were killed. Most reports give equivalent figures. Corpses have been strewn across the town, home to population of an estimated 10,000 that has now been wiped off the face of the earth. Fleeing residents were gunned down as they ran with the young, women and elderly as the predominant victims. In Paris this week, terrorists killed 12 people at the Charlie Hebdo magazine office and candle-light processions and other events of global solidarity have been rampant across the globe. The perpetrators of the act of terror have already been narrowed down, identified and killed. Perhaps the answer to why the world cares little about the genocidal predicament in Nigeria is best found in the following comment in the BBC on January 8th: “While President Goodluck Jonathan, who is seeking re-election next month, has condemned the attack on a French satirical magazine in Paris as dastardly, he has not commented on the violence at home, our reporter says." See more here….. Nigerians continue to tolerate their helplessly hopeless and clueless leadership which regards them as little more than monkeys or actually more worthless than. With a President who fails to secure life and elevate local and global attention to out-of-its-control genocides within the country, the colonialist ruled world conveniently pretends not to notice. There are next to no protests for the nation’s insensitive and hopeless leader to resign or serious attempts to impeach the President. Nigerians thus appear tolerant of the pogrom and as insensitive and lacking of humanity as their leader… and the hypocritical, pretentious world will not be bothered. It is not likely much will be said or anything will change after this massacre. Unless if by the ghosts of the dead. http://skytrendnews.com/index.php/feature/people-culture/6199-why-2000-killed-in-nigeria-n-east-baga-is-not-world-headlines-jonathan-condemns-paris-attack-by-perry-brimah#.VLG7gISrSq0.twitter |

They don't care because they know Nigerians are liars even in war you hardly kill 2000 people at a go it all make believe and am sorry for gullible Nigeria that believe all these lies, 2000 kor 20000000 ni they should tell those story to the birds of the sky. How many villages in north can boast of a population of 2000 and you re telling me even at that number certain of them didn't flee amnesty international should bring video proof and how bodies were counted. Even in Syria that is in active war they have not killed 2000 in a go despite all the chemical biological weapon and starvation tactic been used. 4 Likes 1 Share |

CNN been reporting it since this morning with analyst insights. The reason its not trending in other major news channels is that no one of them believes a govt can b in existence with this horrific no. of casualties. In otherwords, it defies common sense that a govt exists in nig, yet atrocity of dis magnitude occurs without a single word from a supposed president. |

Isn't it utter stupidity that you can condemn the attack on another nation in another continent; but fold your hands and campaigning in your own country without doing something about the attacks! And temitemi1 would rush here and shout 'GEJ till I get sense'...can't you all see that no one respects Nigeria again courtesy of GEJ...we were patching up in previous administrations! But now...no international image! Even our fellow west african neighbours now look down on us! There is more to these elections than meets the eyes; it's a fight for our future..courtesy of the weakness and sabotaging of the NA, if Nigeria is invaded, we are finished! |

The insincerity and lack of coordination have made the Armed Forces of Niger, Chad and Cameroon pull out their military from the Joint Multinational Task Force they agreed too in France last year. It is obvious the Nigerian Armed Forces they look up to to lead the assault is a shadow of itself and the threat of Boko Haram warning them they will turn their wrath on those countries have made them decide to probably mind their business as it seems now. JonaTAN and his useless government allowed BH to grow into the monster it has become today by his stupid act of assumption that it is a northern problem, an opposition strategy to frustrate him and he foolishly believed the fabrication and stupid opinions of his supporters who blinded him to the reality of the situation. The Niger and Chadian military is scared now that if the Nigerian Military with all its wealth and men cannot face ragtag boys then if they will be inviting trouble into their countries if they interfere further. Why can't JonaTAN invite the UN or international military assistance to save the lives and properties of people killed daily like chickens? |

owobokiri: What's the misinformation provider here? If you have no television at home is it my problem? Chad and Cameroon with France are instigating the menace based on your MOSSAD and CIA intelligence. You people just come online with assumptions and innuendos which were the foolish theory the stupid president of Nigeria believes. If it were the countries you mentioned instigating the violence why have the FG not reported them to the UNSC or the country incite their Ambassadors at the least. Please get off my mention next time if you lack basic understanding of the situation. |
