Even though the policies may look good on paper, how much impact has it made to the locals?
Others also talk of power reforms which we are yet to see any of its impacts.

The time has come to run a fact based campaign. Even though the opposition party has resorted to publishing fake certificates, we that believe President Goodluck is the change have to be the change.

In this thread we will cover only fact based accomplishments of this administration. Please feel free to ask questions.

We will start with The Minister of Works.

madam, when was the last time you used the road? I am an APC supporter for the mere fact that I want PDP out of power. But I can say that the road has been fixed sincerely speaking... I used the road last week. Though some parts still needs attention but not as bad as your image and that spot in your image above is an old one, which has been fixed. I will be using the road this week, possibly weekend and will take snapshots.

I had to go thru all the thread to make sure am seeing right. chai this people can lie sometimes I wonder if we live in the same Nigeria.

I'll try to sound as unbaised as possible and speak of only the ones I know of:


The road linking Ilorin-Oyo that was done a long time ago bf Gej came into power
benin - ore, lagos -ibadan, apapa- oshodi roads are only partially completed leaving the other part in the same deplorable state they are in.


Concerning agric. all I see is things being written on paper which have not translated to increase food or lower prices of food in the market.


As you rightly observed, the op is a lair. Most of those roads and power projects were done during OBJ's tenure.
Concerning transportation I have seen pictures of train in the newspaper am yet to see one in my region, airline are still as expensive as they use to be and am yet to see the buses that gej promised after removal of the subsidy.


And as for power I don't need to say much as you all can testify to this.


P.S. live in Lagos so this is coming from the view of lagosian.

Many Nigerians are hating GEJ based on sentiments and APC propaganda. Every administration has shortcoming such as the Ikeja bomb blast during OBJ but we didn't call OBJ clueless, the ODI massacre, etc. GEJ has done a lot and is doing a lot to fast track the development of the country.

Best way for a country to develop in this modern world is for the institutions of democracy to be strengthened. there is now free and fair election, free press, free judiciary etc. that way corruption will die a natural death. Arresting your enemies and jailing them cant stop corruption. Institutional approach seems a sustainable and proven means of fighting corruption.
