Thanks for the link I just checked it. I honestly dont know where the lady is that wrote this. But from her stand point It looks like she has chosen to walk with God. be more of a single individual. Celibacy if i might say. Thats definitely one thing I am doing. I dont believe in having anonymous sex and throwing my self around defiling my body and mind. As sex is sacred and should be shared between two people.

BUT I WILL NEVER DENY THE FACT OF MY ATTRACTION TO THE SAME SEX.

Thats all I am fighting about. People claim it doesn't exist, its a choice, its a "western culture". i have a lot of gay fathers and husbands in my circle and i am a soon-to-be gay father and a husband,but one thing i assure u is, we are living our lives to the fullest.some us our families know about our attraction to the same sex ,so i can't exactly say that some if not most are living a life of lies. it's not exactly the kind most of us want but we try to make good out of it.
i'm not advising anybody to live such double lives but i just want to u tell that some of us who out of pressure have chosen this part are making the most of it.

Thanks for your commendation. I am also happy that you shared your thoughts. Sorry about the point i made of saying its living a lie. I have had my share chatting up with married gay men. All of them told me their spouses dont know. I find it hard to wrap my head around that.

I dont know about most people. Isn't sex outside marriage is adultery.

1)when life throws u a challenge u try and make the most of it by being true to urself .some of us try to so hard to hide our true selves to our wives but the women always eventually finds out and it's their choice to either leave the marriage or stick it out which is what happens more often.yes,we do lie and cover up some times but we don't go about denying ourselves happiness cos of our sexuality challenges.we have boyfriends on the side infact some go as far as living 2geda with both partners.now,don't get me wrong,it's not an ideal situation and hence i'm not advising it for the up coming generation ,but with the way Nigeria is structured now as regards the gay issue one cannot but be obliged to do likewise. my wife is lying down next to me as am typing this and i don't owe her any explanations.we're all together in the east for the holidays and almost every member of my immediate family are in the family house and yes they re all aware that i'm gay.i live as happy as i can ,damn the hate and often too misplaced expectations!

2)most women know that their husbands are gay but out of pressure and prolly for the fact that we take very good care of our wives financially they enter into the marriage,often times with the hope that the man will change just like what happened in the Kenny Badmus case.

3)that term adultery in this case is relative,some don't believe in the whole bible stuff .and when u throw in the gay stuff, u'll find out that the whole adultery stuff cud be explained out as the other person involved is of the same sex.i don't even know the meaning of adultery

I am just asking all these questions for advise from your own perspective

4)i used to have a single partner until our relationship got strained last year due to the fact that it's a long distant relationship.that is what happens in the case of Nigeria and gay life as no one gay guy will want to stay here for the rest of his life due to the prevalent hate and ignorance.i have more of my friends also who are married here in Nigeria but living with men abroad .lots .and yes i have a guy right now that we are trying to make it work .
