Just continue wit Ori to prevent it frm becoming more obvious. Bt all d same, don't stress urself. Very soon u will get used to it and won't even see it, though its there.

Potash ke? That this is not even good for adult.

Pls don't add potash(kaun) in your baby's ewedu.its same method i use; after* plucking the ewedu,*i wash and blend with little water.you can spice it up with mashed titus fish(cook the titus fish first then remove the bone),crayfish,1fresh pepper .

For example, my 8weeks old boy sleeps only 6 hours @ night but seems to enjoy more time sleeping during the day, but i must confess am not too happy about it at all, but what every1 is saying its normal.......... It's completely normal for baby not to sleep at night but if u want her to have a longer sleep u can put him to sleep on his chest but be careful because of s,i.d.

If she is a new mum/has no help, it may be the stress of dealing with a baby and everyday chores. she should reduce salt intake, take lots of fresh fruits and vegetable, take long walks/simple exercise and more daytime naps. She should try to see a medical professional.

The frequency of the hiccups will reduce over time. My 2 kids also had frequent hiccups between 0-2months...it stopped on it's own. Water is not the cause.

Throws up or regurgitate? If ur baby throws up after each feed, pls see a doc(a paediatrician) as soon as possible. Let them check the baby. Its well.. it's normal babies regurgitate after feed but nt vomit, ensure u rub ur baby's back and make d baby belch b4 putting down or playing wit the baby. All the best

Even witout hbp in preg, sum pple have post partum hbp. Pls if she doesn't hv help,tell her to get asap and ensure she rest well plus any oda symptoms like headache, swollen legs and blurred vision? If yes, she nids to get to d hosp asap for management.

My two months old baby has not pooped for like 5days now. And its like he is in pain.
My wife is so worried, and she has tried giving him oranges since yesterday to see if he will poop, but nothing. He has equally taken Gripe water still nothing.
Is there anything we can do to help him poop?

He's too young for oranges and pls stop gripe water. Is the baby on exclusive breastfeeding? If yes u don't hv to worry but if no, kindly put cotton bud in a vaseline or olive oil and insert into his anus, pls b gentle wit it,try it like 2ce a day and let d baby rest,if he is constipated,it wil help. He is on exclusive breastfeeding. We just tried the cotton bud in a vaseline method and he strained and cried while trying to poop, but he only ended up farting.
And his fart smells a lot.

The crying is getting to me really.

Might be reflux. Go for proper diagnosis

let ur wife rub vaseline on her little finger, then insert it into his an*us. it ll help. she shld also feed him more frequently

You r welcome.my baby is 9months too,he eats every thing we eat at home.its only when am less busy with enough strength i prepare his own food; you can introduce;amala ‎​A̶̲̥̅nd ewedu,rice and titus fish(add fresh pepper,tomatoes,onion to the rice),chicken and carrout soup(cook the chicken first(soft chicken)remove the skin before blending ,blend just the inside,den parboil ur carrot ‎​A̶̲̥̅nð blend too,mix both 2geda ‎​A̶̲̥̅nð heat 4 1-2mins. Will add more 2mrw...

Where do you stay? If u live near any shoprite store, pls go to d baby aisle look for purity prunes puree. Just give him a lil, or try teaspoons of orange.

i would say he regurgutates. but the volume is what scares me. he could soak a bib completely with the milk after every feed. i have stayed away from milk in my meals for almost 2weeks now, since i learnt thta milk, eggs, cheese increase the effect of colic in childden. but he still groans in pain especially in the mornings. please what else could i do to. thanks

Pls ensure she has tommy time like 30mins everyday and weneva she's in pain, let her lie on ur tummy wit her stomach, it wil relieve. Ensure she belch after each feeds. Pls stay off nospamin.. if u tink u nid a drug, get infacol 0.5ml for her and pls don't use for more dan 5 daus

Regurgitation differs in children and volume, pls b sure it's nt reflux or vomiting, make him belch after each feed and pls ensure exclusive breastfeeding.

Ao is he now? Has he pooed.. pls u can repeat d vaseline and cotton bud, her finger mite hurt d baby, don't give puree or orange and pls continue exclusive breastfeeding. Let the mother increase her fruits and fibres esp oranges and vegetables and she shld take lots of fluid.
