A female undergraduate of the Delta State University, Abraka, Belynda Chinwe Bosa, is now in the police net after she was arrested for organising her own kidnap with her boyfriend with a view to collecting the sum of N10 m from her wealthy parents.

Bosa, a 25-year-old Mass Communication student of the university, had connived with her lover, George Itietie, an undergraduate of the Institute of Management and Technology, IMT, Enugu, to abduct her and make a ransom demand from her parents who negotiated the sum to N5 million.

The suspects were able to get the sum of N500,000 which was paid into an ECO Bank account domiciled in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, before they were nabbed in a hotel at Oyibo axis of Port Harcourt where they had lodged.

While parading the suspects at the Delta State Police Command, Asaba, the state Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), DSP Celetina Kalu, said the suspects were using one female anchor person who goes by the name America Sunday Ogagawotu to establish contact with the girl’s mother who was apprehensive.

“Investigation into the incident revealed that the suspect (Bosa), on leaving Lagos, went to her boyfriend, one George Itietie, in Port Harcourt where she, the said Itietie (boyfriend) and Ogagawotu (anchor-person) planned to inform her parents that she was kidnapped.”

Going by the plot, they were to extort money from her parents because “Ogagawotu got N100,000 as her own share from the ransom.”

Confessing her crime, Bosa said she regretted her involvement in the abduction, stating it was her boyfriend who pushed her into the act, threatening to dump her if she refused to cooperate with him.

She said:

“I am sorry for the stress I made my parents to go through.”

This quoted part shows that the girl is soo dumb dumber and dumbest if there is anything like that

the girl is in love with the boy and she would do anything for the boy. The boy doesn't have money to make their romance sweet. The boy came up with the idea of the kidnap and the girl had no choice than to support it. In the long run, they would be freed but their parents would be made to pay through their nose by the police.

a lady once told me that, any child that will disgrace her, let such a child be miscarried and flushed out of her system. After reading this, I now understand why she said that.

A 25 year old lady for that matter can be so love-smitten to be so stu.pid! l doubt if her family would ever be interested in collecting dowry from any man who may want 2 marry her in the future that is if she has not already been disowned! Tufiakwa!

I guess he won't dump her now when they both end up in police cells. I hate one sided parasitic relationships. It's Love ya neighbour as urself, not more than urself girlie. N u can bet she'd be feeding the guy. After they collected 500K, he only gave her 100K. Such an annoying over bread n buttered girl.

N sometimes Y I'm so grateful for everything life took me thru, made me a stronger person. If my parents were wealthy, I can't even begin to imagine how far I'd have gone but all the same everly so grateful to God.
