Good morning nairalanders, pls I want to change my toyota highlander (2001 model) transmission oil. Pls what's is d recommended oil coz it has nt been changed since I bought d car last year . Here is d pix of wat I saw on d dipstick. Can I get it frm Oando or toyota

It clearly says type t iv, so use type iv. Its available in the market. |

Mobil 3309 Datasheet http://www.mobil.com/USA-English/Lubes/PDS/GLXXENPVLMOMobil_ATF_3309.aspx Mobil Dexron VI Datasheet http://www.mobil.com/USA-English/Lubes/PDS/GLXXENPVLMOMobil_Dexron-VI_ATF.aspx Basically if you want to go the Toyota T-IV route, then Mobil 3309 is an equivalent not Dexron III. In the instant case, your vehicle specifies Type IV, so please if you don't wish to replace your transmission in other 5000 to 6000 miles then by all means stick to Type IV.
