Hello house, pls I want an advice on what to do. I have written my english test but yet to obtain my wes report since september 2014 that I applied. I have been to my institution and realized the verification they needed had been sent, infact another one was resend in my presence cos they said OAU respond to wes via emails and I saw them doing the same to other people's application. However, I have emailed wes to know my present status but no response and when I checked online my status read evalution in progress but on the documents status being awaited for verification X was written. Pls what step do I need to take for my evalution to be completed. my ref no: 2624215 and I have also attached the status page for quick understanding. |

Please i need to know something...my application was received August 27th under NOC 1212 and DD was encashed 4th Dec but since then i have not gotten the PER mail..i was advised to call CIC as well as send a mail to that effect....i sent a mail but as we know it takes up to 50-60days for response to come..however i started calling CIC to see if i can get my UCI number which up to 20times within 3 weeks they refused giving me saying they cant give me the information i should e mail CIO. However i got lucky just today and they gave me my UCI number. When i checked the ECAS it showed my full name and IN PROCESS underlined. When i click on the IN PROCESS it said...We received your application on 27 August please what does that mean....is it they sent PER and i didn't see it or they are yet to send? 1 Like |

sesytrice: .i have called them like over 20 times since past 3 weeks and they always tell me what they told you..but today about 30 minutes ago the same people that have refused to give me gave me the UCI number...what i told them?i told them i mistakenly deleted the mail sent to me by CIO to me and now i am filling a form for tourism and UCI number needed to complete the application which wont submit without the UCI number..i told them i could only remember 92------ butt he rest i cant...the lady asked me my surname,my full names, date of birth,my phone number, email address and my street address and then to confirm she asked what program i initially applied that got me the UCI number i told her FSWP...and bingo! she gave it to me.try that stunt too and see if it works for you |

Fingertips: Congrats. My application was received by the CIC on the 14th of October 2014 under the same NOC but I'm yet to receive a PER mail. I actually used a draft as means of payment, and have told my uncle to help ask the bank if the money has been encashed. Trusting God. Big congrats!!!! |

Nisi: Please read through the last few pages. A lot of changes have been effected on the Canadian Immigration program and from your analysis above, you obviously haven't been in tune with the changes. Also, read through this link like a "textbook" after which you can come on here to ask questions http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by solomonwis(m): 7:04am On Jan 15, 2015 |
justicia: The major differences between the old and the new program are: 1. You apply ONLINE with EE. In the old system, you send in paper documents to the centralized intake office of CIC in Nova Scotia Canada 2.Your points under EE is automatically calculated using the information supplied on the platform with a maximum score point of 1,200. Under the old system, your points is manually calculated {leaving space for error/miscalculation} using a grid with total score point of 100. 3. With the introduction of Express Entry, you get selected from a pool of candidates at intervals to be determined by CIC using a Comprehensive Ranking System {CRS} . The old FSWP selection was based on your ability to score a minimum of 67 out of 100 and your ability to send in your application before the cap of your eligible occupation is reached. 4. Under EE,no eligible occupation list and no cap limit. There used to be an eligible occupations list and cap limit under the old FSWP. 5.Most importantly, application under Express Entry is done online. You scan in all the documents required of you based on the personalized checklist that will be sent to you when you get an invitation to apply (ITA). Paper applications were sent to the Centralized intake office of the CIC under the old system. The list is endless. Read for more here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp |

Thanks for your response and advise, please how long do I need to keep money in my account before printing out the statement for NovaScotia Nominees application. Thank you. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by solomonwis(m): 7:07am On Jan 15, 2015 |
helloCanada: Check are carried out by CIC on every applicant both from the Centralized Intake Office in Novas Scotia and at the local visa office. It is always advisable to come clean when sending in applications as the depth of the check to be carried out is dependent on the Immigration Officer in charge of the application. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by solomonwis(m): 7:12am On Jan 15, 2015 |
yeyeobab: You should at all times be ready to provide evidence that you have the required fund in your account. No specific time is given for this fund to be in your account. However, you must be ready to provide evidence at all time, even at short notice of the availability of this fund. Please note that this fund cannot be borrowed and must be unencumbered by debt. The above applies to applications forwarded to CIO in CIC. Most PNP require applicants to show evidence of the availability of fund in the account for a minimum period of 3 months. The same applies to Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program. |
