Not every country can survive a Boko Haram kind of attack, some countries would have fallen like Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, and even the Sudans. We must remain grateful that we are comfortably home criticising the efforts of the soldiers when many of them are hungry under the sun, fainting in the coldness of the bushes at nights in Sambisa forest. Some have lost their lives leaving no one to cater for their aged parents, siblings and kids.

May we paused for a minute, to reflect on the kind of people we are; these terrorists are sponsored by Nigerians, by politicians, by capitalists with businesses interests. These are the same human beings that criticize the President for not conducting the Odi-type Massacre, for not conducting the Zaki Biam-type massacre, and they go ahead to criticize the President for not building rockets. All from crude oil from wells and oil blocs they shared among themselves.

GEJ is a common-man, not an oligarch, he has the conscience of a poor man, and the humility of David. Corruption prevention is a stitch in time. And a stitch in time saves nine.
