@tee12345 so one cannot claim a voluntary staff that isn't entitled to basic pay just doing it to gain necessary experience?

Did i state anywhere that I wasn't getting paid? Not just salary basis.
Moreover I was there for the experience and so as not to get idle Cuz I was waiting on my nysc, I was home for a year before nysc so imagine if I was sitting at home?

Please try to pay more attention or ask before drawing conclusions, we are all here to learn from each other, mistakes and otherwise.

Thanks

Tnuola, I personally sense care in Tee12345 comment. He is passionate - this kind of 'anger' not meant to make you feel bad about yourself but to motivate you to be better.
Then I bring myself to your shoes again, I seem to understand your POV too.
...but that person cares sha

@Tee12345 did a fine job and it's simple;if you are doing nysc, your sop should have explained it.You won't be expected to have personal assets but that of your sponsor.Ensure your sponsor's SOA is fat, inclusive of assets like properties, shares, etc.Current employment situation/limited employment prospects came up because you made them think you were working and you didn't have anything to show that you were tied to that job, easy for you to run away. Also, you probably didn't convince them on how you want to use the course to work in Nigeria. That's why i really flowed with Tee12345's theme, it shows tnuola decided to improve herself while waiting for compulsory nysc.nothing liberates like the truth so do not deviate from your initial account with them, just make more detailed explanations in your SOP that will clarify issues. My 2kobo contribution.

In my opinion the EE will be HIGHLY Competitive and not to waste money, evaluate the best of the two....i mean my husby has got masters i dont hence he is more qualify.....i maybe more qualify with work experience but education wise....he stands a better chance with a 2.1 bsc and a merit from a uk masters....with abt 6years work experience.
It is quite expensive really to run the two concurrently, but i will advice spouse takes the IELTS for more points....not sure about credential evaluation for the spouse though....will make my findings and get back to you but i doubt it carries any point as advised by an immigration lawyer in Canada....the most imp is the english test....
Well said babes! Are you using an agent for the EE application?

Just ensure you explain clearly what you've been doing,it's a national call which you don't have control over. You don't have to claim you are working if its nysc.so, just explain all this in your sop.

@Tinuola go ahead and get an employment letter from your brother, since you work as a trainee for his company, your can claim that you work for example as his Administrative assistant and let that reflect in your application. But if in your 1st application you said filled in a trainee, explain in your SOP that the position is non paid like a volunteer but now you are employed by the company since October. You don't need to submit your personal SOA, but have like a pay slip which you can add to your documents and make sure your sponsors account has good in and out flow of cash. You will be fine
