solomonjesus: That's not the reason! Right now, they have not even started looking at your essays or financial documents, admissions are given based on transcripts and WAEC grades alone! It is the MCF scholarship that is given based on your Essays and financial information! |

Abdulasod: It would appear so! Last year three Nigerians were selected! When we got to Lagos I was able to look at their transcript and WAEC grades, Mine was the least of them, like mine was so fucking low (untill now I still wonder how manage I got admitted). Algorithm had super transcript and badoo WAEC grades ( I think 4A and 5B) Gesice, that one na oga (6A and 3B) Myself (lol, forget the matter)! So yes, distinction really does matter! 1 Like |

Less I forget, it's not all about getting the As and B's, but getting them at the right subjects, your academic Majors pre-requisites! I would always advice one to go for US university, they have less demand for the As and B's, a good SAT score can turn every stumbling block around! 3 Likes |

L2CD766: You do, but maybe not with Canadian Universities! I think sunnycent told me the Nigerian at Berkeley had just an A, others B's and Cs, US are less strict on the A thingy! Just have a good SAT score and nice personal Essays! |

After you must have uploaded your Transcript, your MCF application, your WAEC Cert and Financial and recommendation form, the status on your application will read Ready for Review After it has been reviewed, you will get a denial if you don't meet the minimum academic requirement but if you do meet the academic requirement your status will now change to Further Review Required And then, they ask you for summary of activities, before giving you a final decision! |
