Osinbajo should have said APC-led fed government will EXPAND on the IPP of the fed government because the FGN already has IPP in place. OAU has its own power supply, so i heard. I am however sure of UNILORIN; the university has its own hydroelectric power station. These 2 schools are FEDERAL universities. 1 Like |

olas24u: Mbaka has become your source? Lol!! Mbaka is a priest - not power minister. When OBJ left, generation was fluctuating at between 2.5 and 3MW, and there were intermittent nationwide blackouts. Check your records. During the reign of OBJ, fuel scarcity was also grinding Nigerians and the economy to standstill at intervals. GEJ came in and chased the gods of fuel scarcity to hell. |

Hahahahahaha mek ah laugh some more hahahahahaha so you'll provide stable electricity? I just lost ma confidence in GMB not voting for him why? Cos is the same bs every government told us, the same bs every aspirant is telling us, and still keep telling us. Am not saying its not possible, just saying that the government that'll achieve that won't broadcast it during campaigns. GEJ & GMB won't. So in other words Papa Adeboye pikim don dey lie |

The present GEJ administration is already on this projects and building power generating stations. The privatization of power sector is a step in the right direction, we don't want Buhari to come and cancel it as he did LAGOS metro rail. 1 Like |

olas24u: I agree with you that we should be discussing 100,000 MW - not 4,000 MW. But we see it all over the country that the power projects of Nigeria's govt are gradually increasing supply. If OBJ who has now joined APC had done half of what GEJ has been doing, we may be talking of 50,000MW now. |

mapet: Thief'nuibu paid $ billions to ENRON in 2000 for power supply through gas barges since then why has 15 years of Association of Pretending Crooks, APC in Lagos state not been able to upscale that initial project for 24 hour power supply in the state Moreover why has the APC been UNABLE to "upscale" tap water provision for the entire Lagos state households and business premises after 16 years in power? The only thing the Thief'nuibu led APC has demonstrated in Lagos is how to STEAL our money smartly while poiniting all accusing fingers ONLY at the presidency. Only daft citizens will follow such myopic thinking. Obviously for the best "opposition" state government, TALK is cheap but performance is MEDIOCRE at best and NOTHING for most areas. #Liberate-Lagos Kai Buhari!!! 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Tomorrow they will make all sorts of noise that GEJ did not do anything tangible thing, but now according to Osinbajo, they want to continue from where GEJs administration has gotten so far. They can only deceive gullible NIGERIANS and the bunch of almajiris and illiterates they have as supporters. Buhari has never been a progressive. He will never continue from where others stopped. His antecedents speaks volume with LAGOS metro rail which he cancelled and chose to pay penalty running in millions of dollars. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

why are APC guys not kicking about the privatisation? You guys were all over nairaland complaining about the privatisation, telling us how SA is generating so much while their electricity company is still managed by the government. Why did the reporter remove the section where he said that private people are not going to get into the gas infrastructure because it is not attractive business-wise. He said that they will have to increase the tarriff so that investors will be attracted. He made that statement after the 15 years comment on gas infrastructure. We should know all the details and tell us what is different. 1 Like |

anonimi: Now I remember that Lagos ENRON project. What did LAGOS and Tinubu do with all the ENRON funds? Where is the money? Why are people not asking Tinubu / APC to explain Enron project. I guess it was a high profile fraud to steal LAGOS money and they made good at it. I can see a lot of rot being covered up in Alausa for ths past 16 years now, hope Jimi will expose these fraud. Lagos needs change seriously. 1 Like 1 Share |
