Why will northerns protest against BH when Buhari already told the govt that an attack on BH is an attack against the north.

If there is any protest at all, Buhari will lead them to protest against the military and govt trying to save them

My brother, the thing tire me... If things continue like this, time will come when a region of the country might be entirely wiped out or under serious threat whilst other region will continue leaving as if nothing is happening... Its time we start showing support for our brothers up north...

Schools have been attacked and forced to closed down in NE, yet, the NANS cant stage a protest in solidarity... The police/soldiers in other parts of the country cant do things to show solidarity for their collegue been killed in the NE... Bankers cant do same for their collegue killed while in the banking hall during attack. NLC cant organise rally for workers that died in the hands of BH. Its only the church that sometimes pray and make donation for the victims... With the mindset of our present generation, we can never be a strong and unified country...

I wonder how all these willcome to an end when we cant stand up to face our leaders for falling short of their duties...
Why are they still paying the security chiefs of this country if they cant profer solution to our current problem...

Majority of the previous protest in nigeria were been organized and executed in the mosque by Islamic cleric. The question op would have asked was, why are the northern iman are not protesting about the activities of boko haram or asking their followers to go on protest instead of asking a fo0lish question why "we Nigerians "

Exactly, I remember vividly, during the last Israeli/Gaza war, Nigerian muslims in the north protested and rallied in solidarity with the Gazan in far away Palestine, one now wonder why they won't do same here in Nigeria in solidarity with those being massacred by boko haram or at least to denounce the activities of boko haram.

I still think we all need to join the rally, though I doubt it will change anything, as such rallies mean little or nothing in this country.

Am pretty sure that most northerns arent happy with the situation thats why you see them forming civilian jtf plus the lynching of any BH member caught... Its just the elite politicians taking advantage of their backwardness. They will we realise that this is no longer a religious or tribal war, the better for all of us as a country.

Northern Nigeria is a problem for West Africa, Nigeria and itself.
The Northern elites and clerics have left the culture of violence to thrive and blossom, they were not concerned because it was non-muslims and southerners that were affected. This violence culture was favourable for radicalization to set in.

If Opc in the SW, Bakassi in the SE and Militancy in th SS were not tackled by Southern elites and clergies, maybe the situation would have been worst.

If I start a movement or cult here in the south, propagating radical ideas against Islam and the north, no one will follow me.
