I met him in my year 1..i was packing into my new lodge(off campus) and he was packing into same lodge in a room opposite mine..he was in 300l then, said he wanted somewhere closer to school hence the change of lodge. .. We became friends (neighbour things ), he told me stuffs about the school, advised me including making good grades, attending lectures, staying off guys, et al.. Talked me into getting a library card and would ask me if I went to the library each time I came back from school...we really became so close, attended morning mass and other church gatherings together (catholics will understand), I could borrow anything from him including beverages, food stuffs etc likewise him. whenever he had food, I wouldn't bother cooking but would simply eat from his, likewise him. he would flash me in the night to get up and read, we sometimes did night calls just to keep sleep off our eyes..During exams, whoever didn't have an exam for that day did the cooking... I can go on and on, we were the best to each other..he was good to me and I was nice to him.. People thought we were related but when they found out the truth, they strted spying on us.. All these while, nothing happened between us(it's hard to believe right? but sincerely nothing did), I never passed the night in his room though stayed late sometimes watching movies or gisting while his door was open.... He finally asked me out in his final year and that was the beginning of our romantic relationship .. I actually knew he had interest in me because of his attitude when other guys pestered me.... Anyway, it's 6yrs now and we are engaged.. he has taken the first step of seeing my parents and we are tying the nut come April. ... Asked him why he kept disturbing me about studies during my early years in the Uni, he said "he wanted to build his world"...Yeah, we both graduated with excellent grades... I will catch a bullet anyday for him.. His happiness is my priority. . He's my first and only love He always says "we will teach the world the meaning of true love".. I pray God always not to let this seed of love in us die but rather get better with time. .. I love you till death sweetheart Yeah, true love still exists. . ... sorry for the long epistle 54 Likes 16 Shares |

Very nice thread. Here's mine I first saw him in 2009, hated him on sight because according to me, he was too arrogant, too nicely dressed, impeccable manners even his laugh was gentlemanly. To me he was forming and to crown it all, he ignored me. I use to see him everyday because they were pitching in our office untill their office was completed in 2010 and they moved. Out of no where, he sent me a friend request on facebook, i ignored it for months (i was like, why would you ignore me then choses to be my friend on facebook?). Out of curiosity, i accepted the friend request and we started chatting, nothing serious, just once in a while chatting. Fast forward to 2011, i left for NYSC. He kept on disturbing to come over and visit me and i was like shoor, na like that dem dey visit? i kept on posting him until i got angry and snapped at him ( i was so disturbed in my mind after i snapped at him because he was always so cordial and nice) and he stopped calling. I passed out of service, i had broken up with my then boyfriend of 2 years so i was free to mingle though i wasn't really looking forward to it. I came back to my State and resumed work. One day i was jejely sitting on my seat when this guy i snapped came in, well dressed as usual and gave me a dazzling smile and told me he heard i was back and came to greet me. O'boy see guilt! i apologised for snapping at him and told him i will seat out with him to show i was really sorry. Na so we went out o and surprisingly i enjoyed myself. After that i forgot about him until he showed his face again and asked that we go to a club, club ke? i didn't think i was gonna go but surprisingly i went, i didn't dance, he didn't either, we left at around 3am. Got back to his place, i slept in my complete outfit, he was just laughing then slept off and was even snoring while i couldn't sleep. After work the next week we sat out again for few hours untill he told me he had to go make soup, i thought he was lying (how can he cook when i didn't think he was single?). Out of curiosity i followed him to his house, he made fresh fish soup all by himself ( woah i was impressed) after every every na so we gist o.....hmmmm..... make i no lie, we did the do!!! i was so ashamed of myself, after all my shagara I was thinking of how to face him again.... Fast forward to 10months later, we were married and we're expecting our first child.... I knew he was the one because he turned out different and was very real and matured 15 Likes 1 Share |

LordReed: Spam bot made me late for this party. EfemenaXY carefreewannabe I now understand the tiptoeing you guys where doing with the language thing, I jumped in with both feet and got myself a ban. Anyways here goes.
A female friend called me up to assist her in house hunting. She told me someone else would be joining us if I don't mind and I said it was okay. At the place we went to see I met this friend of my friend. Polite greetings and that was all, no spark not even her beauty struck me but as we were driving to drop her off she said something that made me do a double take and look at her in the rear view mirror to make sure it was actually her speaking, LoL. She said a man had offered her a job, house and car in exchange for becoming the man's "pet". She said she dammed the man and said a big NO. This is in Abuja and this "poor" beautiful girl is turning down such a juicy offer? OMG I knew I had to find out if she was for real or not.
After we drop her off I told my friend, "give me this your friend na" and she said she'll find out if it was OK to give me her phone number. A couple of days later she sends it to me and tells me to give this unbelievable babe a call. The call lead to a friendship through which I discovered that the babe was for real. I then prayed to God that I have found o! You said he that findeth a wife has found a good thing and obtains favour of the Lord, Lord show me if this choice is good. The Lord showed me and our relationship was tested through 4 years of courtship, during which I lost my job and found it very difficult to even by gas for my car. We stuck together through thick and thin, I was blessed with another job and another car to God's glory. We used to joke that people seeing us now won't understand why I open the car door for her thinking all sorts of wrong things, LoL. We are married now and I still wake up everyday knowing that indeed the Lord has favoured me. now the story behind the beautiful lady I met the other day has been revealed. |

Already did west.mest: It was the year 2022, my company an IOC had just changed flight contractors that do carry us to the oil rig, i was going for a routine inspection, and as i approached the helicopter i saw probably the most beautiful thing i, ve ever seen in my life. She was the pilot, she was putting on a dark spectacle. She was such a beauty. I was stunned and i didnt know when i waved her. I was even thinking she would ignore.
Then it happened she waved back. I was like O.M.G, she just waved. I,m usually afriad when flying, but it was as if time stopped, and nothing else mattered.not even the fear of crashing, while we were on board and all i could think of was her. To be continued. ... Scry.pt:
Lol, crazy guy. Come back in 2022 to complete this dream. Shey you get time machine? Borrow me. . Tolu.tweety, Ok.zcorp, are you guys seeing this? Lol.
My own no reach the yr 2022. ...Same story with west.mest ...in a jet. ...she was the pilot. ...to be continued!

rezzy: Came back from NYSC, had no one yet.
Met him in church. After faith clinic service, he approached me and asked whether I'm born again and I said Nop. He asked when will I give my life to Christ, I said next week. He kept disturbing me until I agreed to give my life to Jesus Christ March 2011
We became friends as in brother and sister in the church.
December 2011, as friends that we were, I told him a brother in church is asking for my hand in marriage, how does he see the guy. Mehn, the next day, he sent me a text that he loves me, I became confused. From that day onward love text begin full my phone.
Meanwhile, I was still given the other guy green light though he knew I wasn't serious and blamed our pastor that they have used pastors power to give me to their Co pastor.
August 2012, my pastor proposed, got married Dec 2013.
How do I know he's the right one.? Make I no lie, I didn't pray about it. He is cool to the core, and he fears God. Not only that, I no wan hear say no be my husband if I pray. Age no dey my side .
