Ref the pic: I agree that fuel prices should reduce but not by that extent. This is because some of the costs involved in producing/refining petrol are fixed, meaning they will remain relatively unchanged no matter the price of crude.

Overall you're right though. I suspect petrol price should be much lower than N87, but definitely not N45.

When I realized that the not-so-educated aged women in my area were thanking Jonathan for the reduction, I explained to them that it wasn't out of his magnanimity but the fall in the price of fuel in the world market.
