same people clamoring for low pump price are same people that will occupy naija if subsidy is removed today but then you can't ask for such low prices without deregulating the petroleum products market and allowing the forces of demand and supply determine products prices and thus private refineries can come on board 4 Likes |

How is it easy for people to get $2.5 in usa and how easy to get #300 in Nigeria The minimum you can get if you work 8hrs in usa is $60 which is amost #11,000 and in Nigeria, you can still work 12hrs and get like #700 4 Likes |

kross01:yes. I am ready to occupy naija for subsidy to be remove but first the federal government should repair and build more refineries then they should remove the so called subsidy and let demand and supply determine the price of fuel. its a shame that we are the only OPEC member that import fuel because we don't have operating refineries 5 Likes |

bishopclin: SMH... where do you get your news from? I won't wanna go too deep into this but for the pump price alone, it's about $1.89 per gallon. Besides, the economy stability here in the US is way better than Nigeria so I see no valid point made from your post yet 11 Likes |

bishopclin: Exchange rate is 188.67 I indeed paid $2.29 yesterday in California, I'm pretty sure it will be less than $2 in Texas. And in California that includes almost 50cents per gallon on taxes so the effective price is $1.79, do you care to do your calculations again? The question that I have of you is why are you comparing Nigeria, a 3rd world country, to the US? Why not compare to another depressed country like Ghana or Cameroon? 1 Like 1 Share |

dre11: in the US, it depend on the hour you work. if you work less, you might not even make up to $200 in a week. it depends on your willingness to work hard. |

nwanna89:Your brain needs vulcanizing. What's the relationship between minimum wage and pump price of petroleum product ? How much do you pay as tax compared to a US citizen. No wonder most of you are poor because you prefer the Cuban Communism type of governance where Government becomes Father Christmas. I do not even know why Jonathan cares, if I was him, I will allow you people to taste Buhari's killer machine for just 6 months. 6 Likes 1 Share |

But in USA the citizens have electricity, do not have to go To India and Egypt to treat simple health problems, don't have 1,000,000 IDP or millions of unemployed youths, don't have soldiers deserting the military due to official corruption. GEJ is running a failed state , for God's sake let this incompetent president go and rest. 15 Likes |

This Op should kindly rephrase his article and take out those intelligible claims he made. From what I read he seems dumber than the youths he accused of not being able to make good use of their brains. Or should we also compare the standard of living and the activities of the US government with that of Nigerians and Nigeria? Cluelessness really can be contracted more faster than ebola. OP, the money u were given was infested with cluelessness, go find a clue. 12 Likes |
