I am only commenting here (since the 2015 elections noise starts) because I am from Ekiti.
No matter what I don't think this is a fight we (ekiti people) should be getting involved in; its good to let people know your stand but don't insult or be seen to be insulting others with your views; especially elderly ones.
Yorubas are quite respectful and honours elders; especially one that has not directly abused you or someone not from your tribe.
That money could have bought a school bus for the state university or improve the less privileged schools in the state a little bit or given to the ekiti state legion in honour of the armed forces remembrances day. anyway; as long as it is not from the state treasury its fine; otherwise the elders in the land should call him and ask if that was part of what he promised them when campaigning for the governorship elections.
