A decision has been made on your UK Visa application. Your application will be dispatched shortly from the Decision Making Centre in Sheffield, UK. If anyone contacts you advising that your application is still under consideration or that they can influence the outcome of your application in any way, they cannot - please report any such approach toVisaSheffield@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk.

Applications submitted at a Visa Application Centre will be returned there for you to collect.

You should not expect to receive any further notification from this office unless you have made your application in North America and submitted a pre-paid courier envelope for your documents to be returned directly to you. If so you will also receive a further email with the courier tracking reference.

I submitted my app on the 22nd of Dec, since I didn't get any mail frm TP Ikeja, I decided to go there myself these afternoon, but to my suprise my pkg was ready for collection, tho they didn't mail me. I opened the pkg my visa as been approved since the 9th of January. I hereby Thank every member of these great thread. God bless you all.....and if you still expecting a response frm TP you can just walk up to them and request for the status of ur visa app. Once again Thanks and God bless.

Please what documents did you go there with? And how did you go about it? Cos late enrolment in my school is on the 26th (monday) and i'm thinking of going to ikeja to check for my application's status tomorrow.

which of the Schools? i guess its Coventry Uni, because i'm also going there, and as for the documents, i submitted a Fixed Deposit Certificate, My CAS, Offer Letter,my Transcript and my Passport

Yeah its Coventry. I meant what documents did you take to tp ikeja for enquiry and collection. And what course are you going for?

She means the docs you took with you or that were checked when you went to take your Intl passport and other docs back from TP..after your visa was issued..

@Kathy007, I think the docs you should take should include: the 3-page application checklist of documents you submitted to TP, with the 3rd and last page importantly being the data page of your intl passport; your appointment sheet; and passport photo(s).

You partially echoed my thoughts. The mails came in 5minutes to my closing hour. I'd usually stay back to leave my tasks at a convenient state. But yesterday was different, I packed my bags the instant the mails arrived.

I got my visa this morning at TP Ikeja, I submitted online on the 29th December, went for my interview on the 6th of January, got "ready" mail yesterday and collected my documents today. Thank you all..
