Let's focus on today...the matter on ground....reorganizing or fine tuning Tehn can wait. How is DJ doing?...and again...when is the results from NY expected? ....within a week?...a month?....no time frame so we just have to hope and wait?....please...can someone in the know say something?
I'm sorry we can't keep giving out sensitive Information out in the open. DJ reads this thread and the last thing we want is for our words to be misconstrued and in effect have undesirable result.

We have received feedback from NY
We are frantically working behind the scene to find a suitable and cost effective palliative treatment plan.
We are also working on possibilities where we had be able to improve his quality of life

We shall put out an update once we have all these details alongside an action plan ASAP

I thought maingate did mention a white doctor presently in nigeria and willing to physically see hamed.
Is it possible to facilitate the meeting.

me i am tired of TeHN , i said even if they dont want to fly him out they should at least call to get assistance but up till this minute nobody called.

i have tried my little best

another rep also called me today via 07032408478 and i explain to him that we just realize we are dealing with stage 4 cancer here and he still insist on seeing him

if TeHN like let them call him

Why should we call them to inform them that we aren't interested in their service since we haven't entered any agreement with them?

He did mention that the hospital in india dont mind correspondence through phone to share ideas and a white doctor presently in nigeria wishing to examine hamed.
i dont know if the consultation would be free but since its a one time thing, it may not be a bad idea to have him examine hamed and give his own recommendations for the next step.
it wont hurt to get as many professional input.

For those interested, not particularly for this case
Be careful about any hospitals in India referred to you by a Nigerian hospital
Don't fall for a scam
They get commissions when they refer patients,it doesn't mean the centers they are telling you are competent

Do your homework and find the right hospital yourself
I have no business affiliations with them but I can comfortably recommend Apollo or fortis in Bangalore India
I have testimonials from people I know
People I can attest to that would have been dead by now, written off by doctors in Nigeria

And please the fact that someone has stage 4 cancer dosent mean all hope is lost. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer about 4 years ago. It had spread to her lungs and other organs. We went to the US and they basically said there was no need to do a mastectomy since it was already stage 4. She was given hormone drugs to suppress the hormones and help to slow down the cancer, when she got back to Nigeria she did some chemotherapy and since then she's been very healthy. The first doctor that saw her basically said she had very little time left yet it's been years and she is doing very well. The doctors have been shocked at how well she's doing.definitely it is God's mercy

So let's keep giving our all to help him either with money, time or advice and we pray ceaselessly also. With God no case is ever too bad, we need to keep helping DJDOLA and not lose hope. It could be anyone
and least some people ll kno chemotherapy isnt a death sentence.

i woke up few minutes ago to see this post of yours

i am very very disappointed in you as a person and if you are in the team TeHN then i am also disappointed in TeHN

Why call me their sale rep ? or has it now turn a crime to assist ahmed ?

Are you sure you have being following this thread at all ?

I hope your pride will not cost us as a whole

I know nothing about HCG india and it was a member here that made the comment that they are good and a member of TeHN asked for the full info of the hospital and how they can be reach and all i did was to use the power of Google to get the info , and i posted the links then and i am now shock it has gotten to a stage where you now label me a sales rep of HCG

I could remember then while searching their official website that i saw a Nigeria phone number , I quickly ask them if they have any emergency center in Nigeria in-which they replied that we can always reach those numbers for further assistance

The white guy that said he will like to see ahmed NEVER for once in any way mention any financial commitment and i am surprise you are now talking and reasoning like a child at this critical time when ahmed needs all assistance

It was just yesterday i told them ahmed is a friend i met online and not my relation and HCG was surprise because if you see the ways i do disturb them with questions and from the moon you came out to say maybe i am their sales rep ?

well i rest my case concerning HCG here

You guys refuse to update this thread for a very long time and when we started complaining all you did is to start attacking us . fine and nice point

MAY GOD JUDGE US

THANKS

I only asked you a direct question which you could easily have answered with a simple Yes or No

You really need to calm down. Your inputs are welcomed any time but please don't let it be a distraction. We are all equally concerned and doing everything we possibly can to find a lasting/effective solution for DJ

We told everyone via our extensive updates that India option isn't being considered since we now have a confirmed diagnosis and the only treatment option points towards palliative treatment.

We have confidence in the diagnosis as not less than 4 seperate doctors have gone over the test results & CT scan

Bro...we just went down this same road of hide and seek....we again have to wait until you get all the details....and an action plan...before you can put out an update. When you do...wouldn't Hamed read it as well? ...so why tell me now that he follows the thread and you can't put out sensitive information? Are you guys trying to keep him...his family...and us his extended family and financiers in the dark?....but you keep harping about palliative care? People are making suggestions....giving options....not that you have to take any but you guys are taking none into consideration and are hell bent on going ahead with palliative care....even before the results were sent to NY. A life is at stake...time is not on our side so I appeal to you guys again to set aside your ego and stubbornness.

I hv no choice but to comment on this thread after I was chased out a long time ago when I made a suggestion.

My simple comment is this.
In a case like this, pls there is nothing to hide anymore. he has gone this far Bc of the public's contributions in diff aspects.

U guys owe it to d public to always and on time brief them 100% of what is/has been happening.

Let's not get emotional over this. The patients reads or not reads it bla bla bla is simply incalled for or are u guys telling me that after diagnosis, his Dr's won't tell him what's up?

Present d case as it is let d public interpret and input. Who knows.
Exactly d same mistake that was made b4 is being repeated again.
Had i/we know is always too late.

We are not trying to change perception as it's really of no importance to us.
We have a responsibility to tell our side of the story so as to clear misconceptions.
It's really up to you guys to derive your own conclusions based on information given.

The costs privided to us by the India hosps at various times in the past suggests that angle is very difficult to pursue as we simply can't afford it as well as not having any sort of guarantees considering he is now supposedly at stage 4.

Our thinking though not final at the moment is improving his quality of life as well as providing an adequate palliative care to improve his health

Lastly, DJ insists he is feeling much better and we pray that remains so

jaybee3:

No one has said it's over for him. I mentioned palliative and chemotherapy at diifferent times in my earlier posts. They will also need money and if chemotherapy is the only thing that can be offered in India so why narrow our option to that if he can get exactly the same chemotherapy here?

Maybe you need to expatiate on your phrase palliative care so everyone is on the same page
When Americans use the word palliative care in in this instance they mean keeping patient comfortable, pain free and in good spirits as they navigate a life threatening illness till their final days as opposed to curative care aimed at curing a disease.
You have used palliative care in about a dozen posts in recent times, perhaps you need to explain what exactly you mean because it looks like your plan is different from what some people are thinking hence the India angle being sought by others.

allowing TeHN take over this case was a big mistake on our part because most of us never new they are not ready for change

This same people have made lots of mistakes in the past yet we decided to ignore those mistake and forge ahead

One thing i am 100% sure of is that if all these fund have come from their purse probably they would have being more accountable and reasonable

when donation was coming in on a daily basis , this thread was always updated every week sometimes 2-3times in a week but now its now a thing of secrecy and that is the problem with the average black man

Now their new method is using the term Palliative care which means when a patient reaches a point at which treatment to destroy the cancer is no longer warranted, palliative care becomes the total focus of care. It will continue to be given to alleviate the symptoms and emotional issues of cancer. Palliative care providers can help ease the transition to end-of-life care.

which means there are lots of information at their disposal that they are not feeding us with

A team that even its member could not coordinate themselves

A team that does not carry its followers along

A team that kick against all suggestion without looking back

My only question is that if that donation get exhausted WHAT WILL BE THE NEXT ACTION PLAN ? COME BACK TO THIS FORUM TO ASK FOR MORE MONEY OR ABANDON AHMED?

This was unnecessary

It was very necessary and apt in this circumstance ma’am. We’ve stated at various times that they’ve been consulted and they did send us a likely cost associated with treating the patient for our initial suggested diagnosis.
The diagnosis has now changed and it has been confirmed by various doctors.
I also stated in one of my updates that there are various risks associated with flying him out to India when they simply can’t cure him especially since the case is already at stage 4.

We didn’t sign a contract with them nor suggest we intended to do so at the time of our engagement with them

Our evaluation of the whole situation in consultation with the doctors working with us has enabled us decide on the best approach going forward hence the insistence on palliative treatment.

Palliative treatment has the same meaning everywhere. He has a terminal disease and our approach is to improve his quality of life by ensuring the treatment he receives going forward is adequate as well sufficient enough to help alleviate some of his pains.

No one has been kept in the dark. Official updates are meant to inform everyone which we have been doing.
I've been going extra length to explain rationale as of when necessary

It's unrealistic to expect us to provide updates every single second on something that's as delicate as this.

For the sake of accountability, can we have records of monies spent and how much is left from the money raised for hamed.
ls it also possible to empower his mum or family from whats left so that it atleast gives him a level of comfort that his family are doing well.
And what form exactly would the pallative take. if he would be home it would be good if i may say so so that he can be around family and save unnecessary cost.

my understanding of his explanation is that they already got the full details but couldnt post freely cos of who may also be reading it so they drop hints hoping we would grab it but we are still asking for the clear picture.
l can hopefully assume their decision which appears made is informed by information they are privy to but couldnt share due to its sensitivity.
Even at that though, tehn is supposed to be a charity organisation and not a corporate brand giving short impersonal and i daresay rude response to posters like maingate.
Telling us you were simply asking a question or giving response by typing "thanks for your concern" as if he is an amebo would be insulting our intelligence.
A more diplomatic response should have sufficed and you people should learn the virtue of patience when relating with the public.
