My Fellow Nigerians,Gentlemen and Ladies; For the sake of future generations, we should stop this campaign of personality assassination and focus on issue-based discussions such as; Diversification of our economy; Devolution of power and bring development to the grass root by amending our constitution because FGN has been saddled with huge responsibilities in the Constitution; Fixing our refineries to produce petroleum products locally and stop importation of fuel and embark on radical gas-to- power project and step up our energy mix to jump start the productive sector to generate employment; Entrench Rule of Law in our governance to curb impunities and corruption; Redistribution of wealth via increase in minimum wage and reduction of abnormal maximum wage as being seeing in the salaries of our legislators, excessive administrative costs of governance in Nigeria and let Comity of Nations see us a serious a Country; furthermore, if necessary let's operate part-time legislative arm of government and shrink the NASS to Single Camera House; Review extant laws to create enabling, safe and assured environment for private sector participation in infra-investment projects- all these require a sincere party that is not poverty-of-ideas ridden with an upright leader like Lee Quan Yu of Singapore. These are what PDP government had failed to do woefully in the last 16 years- this is the meaning of Global slogan call "CHANGE" - Change is not about BUHARI neither is it about JONATHAN , BUT switching over to "to a large extent" a seemingly credible Opposition party as it is the practice in civilised world to fortify our political party system and send signals that Electorates have choice to make if a particular party is not adhering to the. "Tenets of Good Corporate Governance" as PDP demonstrated with absolute impunities in the last 16 years!!!. So for God sake and for the sake of future Generations, Nigerians should not get themselves engaged in campaign of personality character assassination and useless dancing at political rallies- each time I watch the present day campaign rallies, my heart bleeds when I see Nigerians dancing and singing in poverty - which is part of antics of the crop of present political jobbers - the "so called present politicians" - a national shame!!!. For those of us that were opportuned to witness Chief Awolowo's, Chief Nnamdi Azikuwe's, Sir Abubakar Ahmadu Bello'. Campaign Rallies ( all of the blessed memories) - it was like you were in a political classroom, yes. But what do you see today at rallies- dancing, mudslinging, vulgar pronunciation, display of adult rascalit; thereby brutalising the sensibilities of coming generations that politics is all about war- this is why my Heart bleeds. So fellow Nigerians let's pip into what is happening in the civilised World and ask the contestants pertinent questions- I am not a card carrier of any of the political parties(both PDP and APC need change and continuity, Change if their performance is below average, Continuity if above average but generally performance is more below average across board)- these are my thoughts after my today's meditations - thank you and God bless Nigeria - a concerned citizen of Nigeria in Abuja- please let's make the broadcast to all Nigerians, thank you.

you did not take your time to read these quote and you are quick to rush into false conclusions is that fair? if your certificate got missing one way or the other and you go to your school and apply for a print out of the statement based in the school records pending when the certificate will be reissued is that forgery? INEC have made more research about the originality of the grades and they are convinced after contacting the WASC/Cambridge so why is these still an issue, the result was either misplaced or removed from his personal records in the military because they did not say he did not submit, they said it could not be found.

this would have been a valid explanation, except that his certificate did not get missing today.

I read everything including that you are not a card carrying member of any party.

If you are neutral, why is the speedometer reading "change" instead of continuity?

GEJ's performance is above average; so will you continue?

They are feeling the heat now.

When they called Goodluck a drunkard fisherman they forgot that not only were they ridiculing the office of the presidency but degenerating a whole region by assuming that as an Ijaw and Niger Deltan Goodluck is a drunk and a fisherman.

Now that their pedophile certificate forging fake messiah is being exposed to all they are begging for peace.

Useless hypocrites.

Your defense of GMB on this issue has given you out. Contrary to what you're trying to portray, you're APC in blood and heart. Correct me if I am wrong, statements of results do not come with passport photographs and passports are not taken with caps on.

Inec did not make any research . They said an affidavit was ok, and the man that swore the affidavit never mentioned that he lost or misplaced it, he said it was with the Secretary, military board. The military has denied it which means your principal lied on oath.

Imam beats daughter to death for converting to Christianity

NAIROBI, Kenya - A 12-year-old girl who was hospitalized for two weeks after her Muslim father beat her and her sister for converting to Christ last month is traumatized after learning that her sister died from the assault, sources said.

Naigaga Saidah's father, Imam Abudalah Ali of Bwita mosque in Kaliro District, allegedly beat to death her 15-year-old sister, Namugonya Jamirah, on Dec. 11 after the sisters put their trust in Christ at a five-day evangelistic event that ended that day. Beaten unconscious, Naigaga did not learn of her sister's death until a pastor had transferred her to safety in another town on Jan. 7, sources said.

"Saidah needs prayers, trauma counseling and medication for the left side of her hip that was injured by the father," a source whose name is withheld for security reasons told Morning Star News.

After the Dec. 7-11 evangelistic campaign at Bwita trading center in the Nakibungulya area of Kaliro District, a neighbor told Ali that his daughters had become Christians, sources said. That afternoon, 17 Muslims arrived at the venue of the evangelistic meeting, but the participants had left, a source said.

"Their father got the information that his daughters have converted, and he organized a small group of fellow Muslims, about 17 people, to go and attack the Christians," a source said. "He found the campaign had finished but went back to his home and waited for the daughters. When they went back home, the father picked up the club and started beating them badly till one called Jamirah died."

Saidah managed to escape when her father went inside the house to look for water to splash her back to consciousness, the source said. She arrived limping in blood-stained clothes at a pastor's house.

The following day the pastor and another Christian leader went to Ali's home, learned that Jamirah was dead and reported it to police. Officers arrived at Ali's house on Dec. 12 and arrested him. He was charged with murder but denied it, claiming that Jamirah died from a motorcycle accident.

His wife and two sons supported his statement, and Ali was released on bail on Dec. 13. The same day, Ali officially disowned Saidah for leaving Islam for Christianity before a Kaliro Local Council official.

Saidah described her ordeal to Morning Star News by phone.

"My father took us to the house and then locked the house," she said. "He questioned us why we attended a Christian meeting and started beating us up with a club. My sister was hit on the forehead and fell down. I tried to hide myself in the bed, but he got me out and began beating me up as my sister lay down bleeding."

Saidah began shouting for help, but her father covered her mouth with such force that she nearly suffocated, she said. She fell down, unconscious.

"Later on I realized that my clothes were soaked with water as I regained my consciousness, and my father had left," she said. "I got up and went to the pastor's house, which is about 30 minutes' walk. I arrived there at 7 p.m."

The pastor took her to a medical clinic, where she was treated for two weeks, while her father began organizing area Muslims to kill her, sources said. The pastor sent her to a Christian leader in another undisclosed town on Jan. 7. When Saidah learned then that her sister had died, she fainted and remained another two days in a nearby hospital.

"The police were later bribed and accepted the words of Ali, and he was released on bail," one source said. "When he came home he went to the [local] chairman and said that he had disowned Saidah, and that if she tries to go back that she will be killed just like her sister, and that he is leaving Saidah in the hands of born-again Christians."

The chairman summoned the Christian leaders and informed them of what Ali had told him. They told Ali to put his decision to disown her in writing.

"Saidah has been traumatized, is still limping and she is in a need of the prayers, counseling, medical support, and school fees, because she is going to primary seventh grade this year," he said.
