Just being abroad for just a day on the president request to go and beg for the British support since the election were just behind the door will make him lose the update of everything. He was sent to ask the British to do something about the security in Nigeria which the Nigerian military couldn't give because they were cowards. This time around the truth needed to come out one way or another, there was no way to duck and dive because the elections are near and only the total of 62 000 soldiers in the military was too small to enforce security in Nigeria.
nonsense.so 62000 soldiers in the army is a small number?,we havent even added the airforce and navy.there are less than 20000 soldiers in the north east.we cant pull away all our troops to the north east and open our country to attack just because of BH.we even have thousands abroad in peacekeeping missions.

It seems as if this man did not understand Chris Olukulade by tactical maneuver. However, Chris is also misleading his troops by this so called "tactical maneuver" I quote from one of the 200 soldiers who were dismissed for being cowards.

" Abiona is 40 years old and has been in the
Nigerian army since he was 17. Or I should say
had been, because along with more than 200
others he was dismissed last week for disobeying
orders. He was accused of fleeing rather than
fighting but says it was a tactical withdrawal."

It seems as if is not only SANDF that has a problem with fuel. Nigerian military does not have money to buy fuel. I quote:

During another encounter with the enemy in
Adamawa State he says there were military
vehicles that ran out of fuel.

That is total strength which include army, navy and air force. There is no single Nigerian contingent in deployment, Nigeria has ceased all that when they withdrew their armies from Mali leaving behind French forces alone. Tell me how will Nigeria ever deploy soldiers for peacekeeping missions if they them self are in need of such operations in their own country. You should be joking.

Did you even know that many soldiers have resigned and others dismissed. Nobody wants to join military anymore because if you die on duty your family will be left to suffer. No benefits at all.

SANDF will crash you @Evarn, at least try to compete with the likes of Cameroon, Chad, Ghana and others. You will not make it against SANDF.

the NSA isnt the highest defence official.so he isnt the "top"

There's difference between security and defence dummy. Now national security is even top because it includes the police and military. You will have to be briefed about crime intelligence as well as military intelligence, threats and terrorism, actually about everything that threatens security of the country. So, is that not a top position?

SANDF has nothing like that today, GBADS is scheduled for 2017 but no money.

Nigeria is buying JF-17 Thunder this year with precision guided weapons for air to ground attack
.

I wonder which money are you going to use to buy JF-17s. Remember, you have even bought your tanks with a loan money.

This is happening live in South Africa's SOWETO. Watch these hungry, scavenging South Africans looting from a foreigner's shop while the Police on the scene do nothing to protect the the foreigner's property! I worry for the future of South Africa.

Terrible, lawlessness as a result of envy, poverty and laziness! SAPS and SANDF scared to help?

Is this a guilty comment from a South African whose law enforcement officers are unwilling to control or bring to book weaponless criminals robbing foreigners in broad daylight?

Good that you willingly confess that your poverty stricken looters are criminals by nature!

I will withhold my key comments for now!

Since you clearly know how to google events in SA, you are also free to google what steps and plans the provincial and national government are putting in place to stop the looting in Soweto.

In the meantime, your soldiers have been called cowards by your government. Such a strong term.....COWARDS

Haha!! Why didn't they foresee the xenophobic and criminal looting before it happened? How come you were too helpless to stop weaponless South Africans from stealing and destroying other people's hard sweat and investments? Whatever you wish to put in place would make no sense! Afterall, violence, stealing and xenophobic criminality is a way of life in South Africa.

What a helpless country! We know who the real cowards of Africa are! They ran from SELEKA in CAR. They couldn't handle the Rhino Poachers in your Parks. Now they stroll around unable to arrest your rampaging poverty stricken and criminal minded South Africans! Go get a job!

http://m.news24.com/news24/Africa/News/Campaign-vs-Boko-Haram-hampered-by-cowards-20150122

This pretty much sums up what we've beeeen saying. Bunch of under equipped cowards grin grin grin grin grin grin

London - Nigeria's campaign against Islamist Boko Haram insurgents is being hampered by "cowards" within the armed forces, its presidential security adviser said in a rare public signal of unhappiness in the military high command with the effort.

Boko Haram's bloody uprising to carve out a breakaway Islamic caliphate has taken much of Nigeria's northeast and poses the worst threat to Africa's most populous state and biggest energy producer and at least three of its neighbours.Boko Haram claimed a 3 January attack on the town of Baga that killed scores, possibly hundreds, of civilians and left the jihadists in control of the headquarters of a regional multinational force including troops from Niger, Chad and Cameroon.

Nigerian soldiers fled the area after Baga was overrun. It was the latest in a recent series of Boko Haram successes that has cast doubt on the commitment of some in the Nigerian military, and 22 officers including a brigadier general are on trial over alleged sabotage in the war effort."Unfortunately we have a lot of cowards. We have people who use every excuse in this world not to fight," Sambo Dasuki, the top security adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, told an audience at the Chatham House think-tank in London.

But, he stressed, "there is no high-level conspiracy within the army not to end the insurgency."It is highly unusual for senior Nigerian security officials to comment on the counter-insurgency campaign, especially at the level of Dasuki, but it pointed to discontent within the security establishment with the conduct of the fight.

I've been saying.

Cowards. Amagwala.
