Greetings my people. Please help oooh. I have a friend who did sciences during his secondary education but graduated in Economics from the university. Now he wants to apply for diploma course in nursing in Canada. My questions are 1. Please what are his chances to be granted admission? 2. Hope not a red flag from the VO since his degree is in Economics. Please house help oooh. Thanks in advance |

Akoachere:He should be able to get admission into practical nursing if his waec is good ( i just got admission for jan 2016).. Then VO, Im not sure it will be a good idea to tell them he has a bsc in Economics because they are both not related in any way and the practinal nurse diploma is lower than the degree he already has... My thoughts tho... But for the admission part, what section is he looking to apply for? he should do that fast because the course gets filled very fast.... You know the admission is the koko, that after that the rest can follow |

For those applying now and buying CAD, canadian dollar is looking ok to naira....its N154.08/$1CAD......That's goodnews....at least you have more dollars at the end of the day when the VO are converting your money.... US Dollar is scary and freaking me out at N191.20 verify from here please - http://themoneyconverter.com/NGN/CAD.aspx 1 Like |

Fablady: Honestly the thing tire me. If you have the money and submit the right documents you can travel with what ever members of your family you wish to travel with but on here they keep sounding like its impossible. If it's impossible why would the embassy make provisions for it? |

Snappyfingaz: U can't travel with ur family almost immediately U are going to study. The V.O I met today enlightened me more on different ways U can get into Canada. This same issue came up and the V.O addressed it by saying its advisable U invite your family after settling down for a while. Please when U are in ... U can file in for ur family members #My2cents @snappyfingaz 1. Please how long did it take U to get an admission decision from Uni of Regina 2. Is it advisable my referees jux send the completed recommendation form to graddocs@uregina.ca just like I attached my unofficial documents in a mail to the above address. Thanks alot. |

Fablady: Yes it is possible to apply and travel with family. But make it more clearer to this gentleman asking the question, by telling him he needs to have enough money to cater for his family. That's the only thing the VO will be particular about. And the bulk of the money must be in his/her account, not sponsor. 1 Like |

The only school i see with a very close course with content on what we actually do here on the rig is Northen Alberta institue of technology- oil and gas engineering or petroleum. but its just a diploma. but the contents are superb based on what wedo out here.
