A Tenant's Experience. by ucheheart(m): 7:51am On Jan 22, 2015 |
I moved into an apartment, the land lady and her family welcomed me very well as their new and only tenant. We lived peacefully for quite a while until they offered me food during xmas which i bluntly rejected. Since then, i am their worst enemy. As mountain of fire members, they now pray 'die by fire' every morning for me which they were not doing before i rejected their food. While i pray for God's blessing upon their life. Na who God go answer? Shake my head for african mentality. |

Die by fire is a common prayer phrase with MFM members. Do they call your name and then shout 'die by fire'? 1 Like |

My brother there is something called wisdom....They showed u love by offering u food and u wud have used wisdom to collect it then discard it if u don't want....Your actions just show them u don't feel the affection they showed u..It also send a signal like u don't trust them which in turn means u don't love them...Sometimes u just have to handle things maturedly and pray for wisdom 23 Likes |

You have done so wrong to reject their over. Even if you were not interested in their food, you could have kindly receive it, thank them endlessly. After the might have live, you can throw the food over the fence. Omoh carry your number six o. Beside how did you know the were praying that prayer for you. 1 Like |

ucheheart: What mentality stopped you from bluntly rejecting the good gesture they showed you at Xmas They welcomed you and showed you love, but you threw it back in their faces Now you are complaining when they have shown you the other side Is this the first time you have heard of food sharing at Xmas? Every Xmas my mum buys bags of rice and distributes Even if you didnt want the food, you should have thankfully accepted it and given it to a hungry person. You have to be wise to go though life. Hopefully this will blow over or if you have the energy, go and speak to them to and try and smooth things over Its not very nice when neighbours are in cahoots. Everything else escalates and things that should not become an issuse now become issues. . . .all beacuase of a plate of food! 3 Likes |

Why did you reject the food? |

One of the reasons I keep distance with my neighbors! It is good when it goes well, but nerve-racking when a good relationship is strained. Neighbors can make life uncomfortable for you. Please explain what you mean by "bluntly rejected". |

ucheheart:If you feel the rejection was the Genesis then I suggest you approach your landlady and apologize. You could take a gift along while at it. End of story. Be wise! 1 Like |

You have every right to reject the food and I do not subscribe to taking it when you know you wouldn't eat it. The manner in which you rejected the food is the challenge here. Since you talk to them, wall up to them to straighten things out. 1 Like |

ucheheart: Op I don't remember you stating here that your name is DIE BY FIRE. As far as am concerned you are the one here who doesn't have a good or friendly heart. According to you,you are the ONLY tenant and NEW in that house. The welcomed you with open arm and extended love to you on a special day and you bluntly rejected it which is very bad. Whatever happened to love in sharing. Now you conclude their morning prayer DIE by FIRE is for you. Now I am shocked, why on earth in the first place would you ever think they want you Dead because you refuse their food Do you know the meaning of death or its gravity? And you are here shaking head for African mentality and YOU have no mentality at all. |
