A political group, Defenders Of Democracy placed this advert on The Nations newspapers, saying he should stop comparing himself to the likes of Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela, Lee Kwan Yew and Marting Luther King, that he belongs to the likes of Idi Amin, Mobutu Sese Seko, Robert Mugabe.

When will all these end? Why attack each other with expensive newspaper adverts. Our politicians should just stop behaving like children.

Constitutionally, you don't need a WAEC certificate to be president..

What does the constitution say about the certificate you need to get a job? If you feel your right has been trampled upon, then take that company to court. But just because you allowed your landlord pack ur property and throw outside without due diligence does not mean that anybody whose landlord does same to them should sit back and take it..

To become a Nigerian president today, you have to show that:

(a)  you are a citizen of Nigeria by birth;
(b) you have attained the age of forty years;
(c) you are a member of a political party and you are sponsored by that political party; and
(d) you have been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent.

That last option is a very tricky line.. It doesn't say you must have a school cert, but your education must be up to that level.. SS3 education is school cert level.. So rest this certificate matter, it counts for nothing in the grand scheme of things.


Buhari is not the Messiah, but he sure as hell isn't Jonathan ..

So what is the problem with the ad? At least they are not wishing him dead like fayose? Jonathan's ad had people he was comparing himself with, and he has been shown his rightful place. Mass unemployment, insurgency, oil theft and he believes he is moving Nigeria forward? In the last 5yrs exactly what has he achieved? Why can he not run a campaign based on said supposed achievements. Why is he sponsoring people to ask for a delay in the election? Mtcheeeeeew, please let him go.

Its only in Nigeria where paper qualifications matter that much. Sure GEJ supposedly has a PhD, but where did that get us?
