Hi guys, I am confused. I need to choose between Lexus Jeep. 2000 model and Honda 2003 model..EOD. please which one is better people. |

The Lexus is better....fuel consumption is minimal (ac or not) it's produced by toyota, there is availability of spare parts and it has 2nd vaue incase u want to chng it someday. |

Why are you comparing an SUV to a car (one notorious for arm issues for that matter)? Anyway, how's the road you will be driving the chosen vehicle on? What's your expected fuel economy? |

Nigerian road, most tarred..some rough and ocassionally very rough roads. Fuel of about 4k per week. |

okgerald: I use a sienna 3.0L V6 I think that lexus uses the same engine as mine or same litre but difference may be in horse power. 4 litre a week isn't visible except you are doing a about 10km in a day but with traffic and bad roads and the size of the lexus my guy 4k a week on gas isn't gonna get you any where the least you can use on that lexus ontop managing things is 6k to 7k a week and you will always be running half to quater tank. As for the Honda accord with 4 cylinder engine, 4k will nearly full your tank infact with Ac on you can manage the 4k a week as for leg issues with the Accord, it all depends on timely maintenance and good driving habit also listening to symptoms before the D day. If I am to choose between the two, I will look at area (road) if people in my area use cars and they park it in their compound not the one wey you go park for street because your road is bad and car can't navigate through I will choose the Accord cause 1. I will be saving 2 to 3k on gas weekly 2. Accord has less power but I will be managing and comfortable using Ac in traffic compared to lexus (because u wan save fuel) 3. over all prices on parts for the accord is cheaper than lexus. 4. Getting a mechanic to work on the accord is easy If its luxury and class you want, lexus should be your choice |
