You people have started again...Ali's daughter is economical with the truth and only being emotional. Buhari's actions in 1984 was a patriotic and commendable one.

Fmr. Bendel Governor Ambrose Alli was jailed for 100years for misappropriating funds belonging to Bendel State to the tune of N983,000. The Money was meant for road project but he donated it to his Party. He was later freed when Sir Gabriel Igbenedion paid fine to the Government. Ambrose Ali had claimed that it was the contractor incharge of the road project that GAVE him the money to give to his party-(he did gave his party the N983k).
The Military Tribunal found him guilty for diverting State's money to his party
Sir Gabriel Igbenedion paid a fine to have Ali regain freedom.

Please, note that Buhari had nothing against any politician, he was only doing his job.

My Dear, I commend GMB for jailing Ali and others. He did the right thing and it is one of the reasons (among many) that makes me his advocate. Jail anybody that breaks the law...

They came to correct corruption and go back to the barracks but they were overthrown.The situation would have driven the country underground because the leadership was incompetent just like we have now and the election that brought shagari to power was contested By chief Awolowo.
