Have you seen any ibo coming out to say otherwise? Abeg go and sit in a corner!
lestat:

All of you guys paying attention to this post are very foolish, so if 20 men and women in a room announce to journalists that entire tribe endorse a candidate you will believe? seriously how old are you? where did they get their endorsement from? where did they carry out their population poll form? Igbo's are not concerned with Lagos state politics, trust me when i say most Igbo's here in Lagos didn't collect their PVC and are not interested in voting here, why? simply because even though i live and work here doesn't make me a Lagosian and i aint even interested in becoming one, my own state has enough issues as it is for me to bother about. All this noise is being made by the Illiterates, so when u are educated act thus by doing your research before giving every statement made by any attention seeker credence.
IGBOS DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE NEXT LAGOS GOVERNOR, DONT BELIEVE ME? ASK YOUR IGBO NEIGHBORS OR FRIENDS IF THEY CARE.

Pipe down...nobody is doing anybody anything. This is a federal system, I can go live anywhere I want. But the fact still remains ....Lagos is a Yoruba land. Its not located in the East, its in the west.
I don't care..... What I won't take is some lousy Yoruba kid with free megabytes talking tough at Igbo people because we decided we would vote for a candidate.
Even Yoruba people that came all the way from osun, ibadan and co will come to NL and threaten igbo people some of whom were born and raised here in Lagos, and threaten them about chasing them to the east like the east is some hell how we don't go to.... It is funny how one random Yoruba person thinks he is more Lagosian than a non Yoruba just because he is Yoruba..... Even if you have only been to the said place on visit. I dey wait for the ed!ot that will say such to me in real life if I no go knock him teeth off and wait for him to go and wake Awolowo to chase me out Lagos for his sake.

Igbos are not afraid of any Yoruba person or their politicians, either way it is a Yoruba affair, no igbo person has any need to claim Lagos as an Eastern state or Land, but the realities must be said and that is the fact that the igbos have a voting block that can not be ignored, whether it is underrated by the Yorubas or exaggerated by the igbos themselves e no matter, the fact is that we are enough to swing votes, make political negotiations with candidates, make demands, and even influence policies in Lagos. I have lived in Lagos all my life, I am yet to see any LGA in Lagos that you won't find at least, an igbo community, it will be folly to want to dismiss that fact and resort to threats and arm twisting politics..... APC has nothing they can do to the igbos in Lagos that their obnoxious policies have not affected already, igbos are smart and very realistic, they are in your face with their feelings and have no fears and see no reason to put up appearances with any political party or politician. This is politics, it is all about interests and alliances that last as long as those interests, Yorubas can't threaten us into choosing who they prefer because we are in Lagos, let them choose Ambode and leave igbos to choose Jimi if they are convinced that he serves their interest better..... We don't have to cowl in fear to do that....... We are igbos and not Yoruba.

Please reason with your head and not your áss.
Politicians will always want to cajole agullible ppl to get votes.
Open your eyes! yhibo population in Lagos is not up to 10%. Stop wasting your time. It is better you go your village to support the person you want as your governor. LEAVE LAGOS FOR US O!!!!
the problem is that you are not even from Lagos. Why have you abandoned your state of origin? Again bring your source of igbo population in Lagos or my own stands!

Trading? That's for your people now! Petty trading is what your people do best. Yoruba taught you how to read, so wait until you get to your village before you tell how educated you are.

We have not seen the "lots and lots" of your people who have come out to say they are not part of it, as usual, lying comes to you naturally, it's like your second skin.

Though, I am yet to read this article, the caption invited me. I know the Igbos want Jimi Agbaje as opposed to any APC candidate. They believe Jimi Agbaje is an Igbo candidate. Except, it is the will of traditional council of Lagos, if Jimi is banking on his Igbo candidacy or support to win Lagos, then he will fail this time and may never rule Lagos.

Jimi was in the same party the other time with Prof Pat Utomi and he resembles the present CEO of GT Bank whom I am suspecting might be is biological brother. He is urbane, refined and a fine gentleman. Having listened to his interview some years ago and being in the camp of pat utomi, I assume he is an intellectual.

Looking at the way the Igbos plan to take over Lagos using him through the PDP having failed to destroy the progressives with the creation and partly financing of UPN, SDP and AD. These three parties have no effect at all.

I attended university in the East while still in the service in one of the three services. My experience is a bitter one. After 6 years, only three core notherners managed to graduate with us and about 9 people from middle belt. Till date, over 20 years ago, we have story to tell. I wonder if any group in the east (Yorubas or Hausas), though we are always very few in the east as survival over long time is very difficult in those areas can impose an eastern candidate unaccepted and unpopular to local indigene as their candidate. Anything can happen in Lagos but not in their East. Even as University student you have no say. It is only in Lagos everybody claims to be Nigerian.

Having taken a look at how Bola Onagoruwa was sacked as the DG of BPE, Harold Demuren sacked as NCAA DG and the various harassment and removal from positions of South Westerners by GEJ through Anyim, more importantly is the intellectual imprisonment of FEMI FANI-KAYODE using EFCC probe to tie him down and waste him intellectually while stella oduah scandal, open looting of the nation wealth and high level official illegal bunkering are taking place without any thing done to arrest the situation. EFCC keeps harassing, intimidating and intellectual assaulting of FFK continues while Stella Oduah and others are left free until he is caged.

Some of my old colleagues said they do see various bunkering going on at the high sea and at the creek but they are helpless, they claimed they own the oil or they have official backings. Only people from south west are the target of GEJ corruption.

If Jimi is banking on the Igbo support and population to rule Lagos, he is welcome. Congratulations, governor in the waiting. Time will tell.

Do not be deceived: NDI-IGBO would never put all their eggs in one basket esp in Lagos; therefore, what u wld find is this: Split votes for PDP and APC, but it does appear, that whoever shouts more, that they hv got the NDI-IGBO's votes in Lagos or South West seems to be winning propaganda war of enjoyg max support of NDI-IGBO...so just sit back and enjoy the tug btw pdp and apc...an average Igboman wld want just peace and a very conducive environment to trade and live...
