BKings: Well, it will definitely finish but most people would want to start from known to unknown just like in mathematics, you use the known to find X or Y. Once went to a restaurant ordered a meal and it was served with a seared kangaroo meat, I nearly spat my tummy out. The meat was cooked for just 1min, was still raw if you ask me. The concept is that by the time you exhaust your stock, you would have settled a bit to know where to re-stock from or the local stuff to supplement with |

UBKtech: Don't you know whites prefer half cooked food or raw foods.they don't over cook their food which is good. But you would have asked which meat was that.I can remember I ate dog meat while I was serving and I did not know.it was during the last party when we were asked to cook and we had to go to the market.we noticed that some food sellers do mix both cow and dog meat together.I could not sleep that night.this was during my nysc that was when I learnt to ask what meat is this?why is it looking like this.and the funny I really enjoyed the meat when I did not know it was dog meat lol |
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Nobody: 2:31am On Jan 26, 2015 |
UBKtech: Hehehe! They call it medium-rare...iyama! You can even still see the blood oozing out.. I don't blame them sha...when their meat is processed and stored under the most sanitary conditions. Come to Naija and buy meat, then say you are doing medium-rare...if it's not salmonella and parasitic worms that will consume your intestines lol. |

Hello house, State Nominated 190 visa class. Looks like I can come in other Specialist Managers - 139999, I worked as a Project Manager for about 2 years. Kindly advise if the code is appropriate. Also I work presently as an Administrative Manager which means I can come in under Corporate Services Manager - 132111, but I have just 6 months experience. Please advise way forward. Thanks |

bossladyMo: Hi bosslady, I second ubktech on the foodstuff issue. my advice is that you carry as much food stuff as you want and make sure you DECLARE it all. declare everything. i did my PR activation last year and carried a full box of over 30kg of various food stuff. all in ziplock bags and labeled neatly. we packed the food in one box and clothings in a separate box.(wifey did that). The custom officer told us, he was so impressed because we made the job easier and they didnt have to look through many different boxes. he said people rarely did this. Nothing was confiscated. He told us only seeds that could be planted would be an issue. so maam, as we are going back shorthly, we are even buying extra luggage so as to stock some food stuff. like ubktech said, better to start from the known and move into the unknown. |
