Why is it that people do not like what is good for them? Someone has spent six whole year in a particular office and the number of achievement is countable. Can you have one minute and have a rethink about why is we Nigerians are still paying heavily for fuel pump price which should javelin been reduced before now.
How does ten naira reduction on fuel price affect goods and commodities across the country when crude oil is sold at 45dollar per barrel. Do we think of what we have achieved as a country in the last six years
Too many insecurity challenges
Lack of accountability across govt function
lack of insecerity across govt function.

1. Coal use in industry and power production is one of the major contributors to global warming by the industrial world. Both the heat from burning the coal and the greenhouse gases released during combustion are counted as major factors in the global warming crisis.

2.
Coal mining techniques are often very damaging to the surrounding natural habitats. Strip mining is one of the most environmentally devastating mining procedures, is a common way of getting at coal deposits.

3.
Other toxins are released from the burning of coal that can be dangerous to the health of nearby populations. People with asthma are particularly sensitive to many of these pollutant.

4.
Coal is a major source of several pollutants including carbon dioxide, a green house gas, and sulfur dioxide, a component of acid rain.

This is my field so let me say a few things,

There are modern ways of burning coal that reduce emissions significantly, Nigeria just have to ensure that there is proper regulation. The high capital cost for renewable sources of energy does not make it a viable source for energy poverty faced by west africans.

Poor countries like Nigeria do not have a choice but to explore the avenues for development including coal as it CAN provide a lot of jobs for the teeming unemployed.

A simple cost-benefit analysis would show that investing in coal can be very beneficial for the Nigerian Economy..

I am a proponent of renewable energy and have written research papers on it but the fact that it is often times not economically dispatchable and needs significant investments and incentives does not make it an attractive choice for developing economies

China today is suffering from extreme population and health problems as a result of using non renewable sources of electricity such as coal.. almost every country including African countries are looking into and developing renewable sources of energy. Buhari wants to take us back to the stone age. .
he lacks the modern thinking we need. .. why didn't he propose focusing on capital investments in the gas sector to reduce gas flaring and generate power as well. Why not focus on increasing the capacity of dams to generate power. .. How can he even create 1 million jobs from this idea, what is the population of enugu to start with. ..any right thinking person knows this his promise is a crappy and unfeasible one..

SHUT UP! AM IGBO AND THE ONLY REASON AM VOTING GEJ IS FOR HIM TO IMPLEMENT THE RESULT OF THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR EQUALITY , BUHARI IS EVIL AND WICKED , THEY WANT TO CONTINUE THEIR INJUSTICE
THIS IS WHAT APC IS AGAINST:-
That is perhaps why they refused to send delegates to
National
Conference held last year. They are fighting Jonathan
because
Jonathan will implement the recommendations below but
APC wants
the status quo to remain.
Main recommendations from the National Conference:
1. Scrapping the current system of 774 local authorities -
this is
intended to save money and reduce corruption. States
would be able
to set up their own local systems
2. Creation of 18 new states - equally spread around the
country.
Also suggested that states wishing to merge can do so if
certain
conditions met
3. Revenue allocation - proposes reducing share of
national income
going to the federal government and increasing share for
the states
4. Modified presidential system of government that
combines the
presidential and parliamentary systems of government.
The president
should pick the vice-president from the legislature
5. Power should be shared and rotated at all levels of
government.
Presidency should rotate between north and south and
among the six
geo-political zones of the country. Likewise, the
governorship post
should rotate among the three senatorial zones in each
state.
APC DOES NOT WANT THE ABOVE TO HAPPEN!
REJECT APC WITH YOUR VOTES.
VOTE WISELY!!
VOTE JONATHAN FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF A
JUST, EQUITABLE AND MORE DEMOCRATIC NIGERIA BASED
ON
EQUALITY!

From the comments so far we can see that most of these igbo guys prefer to be 'killed and buried' by their 'brother' rather than being saved by 'others'. Thats the feature of souls that are sold pathologically to sentiments. The worse part is, when the chips are down, and they are writhing in d hardship occassion by their wrong-choice, they wiill run to church, fast like 'die' and pray like mad. But, the most interesting part is, God will laugh at their stupidity. In a tacit voice He will retort, 'haven't i provided for you a saviour, and haven't i given you brains for a good decision, but you chose to switch it off for your heart'. But they are too arrogant to hear the voice of reason............................:.............................. I have decided CHANGE is the way to go on FEBUHARI 14

Coal CAN create 1 direct and indirect million jobs if the industry is developed.

The problem is if you want to have a viable coal industry, you also need proper regulation.

Thank you for your mature response.
The millions to set that industry up to standard can be used with solar energy.
The rivalry between American and Chinese solar panel industries is likely to yield substantial reduction in solar power costs over the next five years. Meanwhile in the renewable energy world, the cost of solar energy has dropped 50 percent since 2008, driven in part by falling solar panel prices as demand grows and the technology gets more efficient.
While solar remains an expensive option for many areas, overall the industry is nearing cost competitiveness with stalwarts like coal.

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/24/business/energy-environment/solar-and-wind-energy-start-to-win-on-price-vs-conventional-fuels.html

Our relationship with China will pay off in this sector ...

http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2014-11-06/chinas-solar-power-push

My President is already thinking renewable energy with water we will not go backwards.....
