Filmmaker, Afe Olumowe has condemned yesterday’s attack in Borno state by the deadly Islamists terror group, Boko Haram.

The attack, which is the second on Borno state since 2014 has left 200 combatant soldier dead.

“It is so sad considering the number of lives we are losing to these evil group almost on a daily basis.

This latest attack underscores the great challenge that Boko Haram poses to Nigeria and the government's weak and slow response to this threat.”

Afe made this assertion on January 26, 2015 while giving a speech to a handful of final year Theatre Arts students of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

Speaking further, the movie Director states; “The Nigerian government under Goodluck Jonathan needs to review its faltering counter strategy and strengthen the political, military and diplomatic elements crucial to reversing this dangerous tide”
