First I will like to ask Salient questions: 1. The article claimed that the State took over "Xtian" Schools, the question is were the said schools given to muslims? That is if it is true. How does taking over of institutions by government of Nigeria amount to islamisation? When has it become the FG's business to control Secondary schools save Unity Schools? 2. The article claimed that permit for mosques were issued and churches denied. The question is in which areas? When has it become the duty of the Federal Government to issue permits for religious houses? Hasn't this been the perennial duty of the various states? Another question, which areas did these happen? I am throwing open challenge to OP. Finally, the article was a commentary on the OIC by IBB. It has nothing aginst GMB. Why did the sponsors of the propaganda against Buhari shown on some TV stations forget to mention that he seized christian schools and stopped the building of churches? seizing of christian missionary schools from the owners by government is not a new thing. Its been happening and the matter resolved. It has nothing to do with islamization of Nigeria. 2 Likes |

barcanista:Nonsense attempt at rebuttal. Whether the schools were handed over to muslims or not doesn't change anything, taking the schools away from the church was a way of reducing the influence of the church and christianity on the students. Secondly, Buhari's government was a military regime in far back 1984, all the administrators in the different states were appointed by him and he had total control over their decisions including the granting of permits or anything else. 7 Likes |

Collynzo9:You have proven not to have any knowledge about governance in Nigeria. To you, Military Heads are absolute. Not even IBB's regime was absolute nor Abacha. You know nothing about Provisional Government of the Military. Otherwise, you won't say the HoS decide who get what permit. I raised questions, when does the State taking over properties amount to Islamization or Christianization? What is the business of the Federal Military Government with secondary schools save Unity Schools? What is the business of FG with religious permit? By the way which and which churxh was denied permit? Pls I don't respond to kids comment. You should avoid topics that you have no idea of. 1 Like |

barcanista:All the 19 states then had administrators that were strictly appointed by Buhari, they were like ministers whose decisions must be in line with Buhari's policies, they were simply there to do his bidding. Taking over christian schools from churches, refusal to grant permit for church building while speeding up the process for mosques, amounts to Islamization. 3 Likes |
