Who ever Avoids A Debate in Nigeria wins the election. So it is pay back time and Jonathan is just being served a dose of his medicine. History about to repeat itself |

It's really getting harder to defend Buhari these days, the man is not helping himself and his supporters who go to the extreme to defend the indefensible. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Chylo: Please show that you guys are different by attending the debate! Undecided like us can then make up our minds but if your man Buhari doesn't show up, it means all what PDP is saying about him and his qualifications are true! Isnt it? 1 Like |

The title of this thread is misleading. I have read some of the comments here all i see is pro gej forcing the debate down the throats of pro gmb. The buhari supporters are not disappointed frm their response hee. Infact they welcomed his decision not to participate. On the other hand, it is the gej supporters that are disapointed. The title should read gej supporters dispointed at gmb's refusal to debate. Or something in that direction. Op take note. 3 Likes |

Obinoscopy: Stop deceiving ursef.......Jonathan failed miserably as governor, debated himself and still emerged President. What does that tell u? Debates don't and will never, at least for now swing votes in Nigeria. Those that have not made up their mind are few among which won't even come out. Again, debates don't swing votes in Nigeria, definitely not even Omole/Dokpesi debate. 1 Like |

Lumyboi:Please do you own a business AIT is a business venture out to make profit. They were paid to air a sponsored program, so they did. So far they didn't break the law in any way APC and Buhari cant take them to court. TVC and APC started it when they were showing evil things that happened under Gej's tenure even before the had their primaries and directed all faults to Gej. I am not for or against any candidate, but I believe its only fair game. As regards the debate, no matter who organizes it, If Buhari knows his stuff he should attend and beat Gej and even the organizers arms down. I wouldn't shy away from a debate on Chemical engineering and/or quality control even if its obvious my other contestants have been given the questions. This is because I am a professional and I know my stuff, the worse that can happen is that we will all score 100percent, thank God the debate is live so Nigerians are the real judges and not AIT or whoever. 1 Like |

Demdem:Things have changed my brother. Nigerians are becoming more aware. Who knew before now that the Social Media like Facebook and Twitter will become very important political tools? The likes of Jonathan and Buhari had to join the Social Media in search for votes and solidarity. If Nigerians perception of Social Media politics has changed, so can their perception of election debates . |

I still dont understand how the debate will be biased. Are they not going to ask them the same questions? Is APC not going to be fully represented at the venue? and we dont need a judge to tell us who did better, people round the world would be watching. Someone pls explain. It is ridiculous for buhari to avoid this debate because i was hoping that he will explain how he will reel out hes welfare scheme and jail corrupt nigerians. Jonathan doesn't even need to say much cos i know some of his policies that are actually working and the rest that are not working. We know jonathan can buhari just give us a glimpse of himself? Please. 2 Likes |

sincerenigerian: The fact that nta ait is organizing it doesn't mean it will be held in sercret. I smell a cabal or person holding sway, the person owns a TV station where he would prefer to have. The debate. I don't like pdp and gej has failed woefully but I don't apc and their godfather as well. *sad* |
