I Insist, There Will Be Problem If Jonathan Loses — Tompolo by argon500: 9:06pm On Jan 30, 2015 |
Former militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has reacted to the former defence minister, Gen. T. Y. Danjuma, who called for his arrest over his inflammatory statements at a time Nigeria needs peace ahead of the 2015 general elections. In his response, Tompolo reiterated his recent declaration that President Goodluck Jonathan must win in the February 14 presidential election for Nigeria to continue to stay united. Tompolo declared: “General Danjuma and his cohorts should know that I remain resolute on my position in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, that President Goodluck Jonathan must win this election for Nigeria to continue to stay together.” He also lashed out at Danjuma for calling for his arrest, asking where the general was when Mallam Ciroma Adamu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and the Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi made inciting statements to make Nigeria ungovernable. He also wondered why Jonathan’s convoy was stoned in Katsina and Bauchi states while Buhari enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere when he campaigned in the Niger Delta states. Tompolo, in a statement signed by his media adviser, Comrade Paul Bebenimibo, condemned “the call by Gen. T. Y. Danjuma (rtd) to arrest me and other agitators for a better living for the people of the Niger Delta region. “Is Gen. Danjuma not aware of the peaceful atmosphere when Gen. Buhari visited Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa states for campaign? Why is it that President Jonathan’s convoy was attacked in Katsina and Bauchi states without any provocation?” Source: http://www.hotgistng.com/?p=3503 2 Likes 1 Share |

Even Criminals and thugs have Special Advisers. Oh Lord, since when did it become a norm for thugs and criminals to speak on behalf of Niger Delta? Tompolo is an employee of the PDP. Like a told a buddy yesterday , Tompolo and Dokubo are threatening the peace of a whole country , Dokubo is saying SS,S.E people are the rightful owner of Nigeria's Crude , Saying Niger Deltans will fight , for their right , I do not know if its Ogogoro or weed talk , but like i said to my friend, These so called Igbo leaders and even presidency is aware of this statements , and non of them has come out to say Dokubo or Tompolo is not representing the Igbo Nation If push comes to shove , Yorubas will team up with Hausas again blast their whole states and cities to smithereens , and maybe their bodies will yeild more petroleum , Thus the repetition of history over and over again The few problem that worries me , A lot of innocent souls will be lost, those eediots making threats will run to Benin republic where they have their investments and democracy might be lost 1 Like |

DaBullIT: That's exactly some yoruba calculations to joined the APC in order to oppress se, ss, middle belt and others. This time around, it will be a longer drown out war. And a lot of groups both within and outside Nigeria will not co join a hausa/fulani and yoruba front . Already ecowas and AU are already building a front against boko boys. Internally, groups like middle belt will not join. Igbos and her new fronts will easily March to victory. |

Re: I Insist, There Will Be Problem If Jonathan Loses — Tompolo by DaBullIT(m): 7:17am On Jan 31, 2015 |
knowledgeable: I am not advocating for war, apparently you missed the main point in my comment which is : Those asking for war, inciting people to war will run away when it starts As for your calculations, I assume ss and se will want to trade crude for support, but crude is so cheap that thousand of barrels won't deliver a cache of AK rifles or RPGs If this all goes to shiitee, BH will stop we all know that GEJ is their sponsor, they are in his cabinet but he won't expose them We also know that the North has always enjoyed blessings and support from international bodies, so allied forces in the world would most probably support the Combination of Yorubas and hausas Especially because representatives of ss and se are the ones who threatened war should their candidate loose |

People are myopic when it comes to the ominous threat the ND militants portend....yes they might not be large enough to face down Nigerian army but they are large enough to plunge the economy down to the doldrums that the naira used to pay the same wages of the Nigerian soldiers will be as worthless as the paper we use to wipe our buttocks therefore most will be risking their lives for nothing,Now factor in the massive corruption in the Army, low morale and sheer laziness borne from nepotism and favouritism plus easy access (on the side of the militants) to the coast, resources via bunkering and exchange for arms from russian black market arms dealers with cash to fund a well trained and compact personnel sourced from the same educated and enlightened people of the SS/SE. Let us just say the mangroves of the Niger delta will be a blackhole for the nationalists...vote wisely. |

watchthisposter: Since your brother in law promised Nigeria will cease to exist, I wasn't worried about economy If they destroy economy, we'll see how they'll survive too , you can buy boats and ships but can't buy as many as Nigerian Navy currently owns I hope you have silos and fertile lands and I hope you have stockpiled food and drinkable water because What's left of Nigeria will prevent sea trades, blow up any vessel that attempts to trade anything with your in-laws then your cousins can eat and drink the crude oil they so much want |

ojimbo:A silence procedure or tacit acceptance procedure[1] (French: procédure d'approbation tacite; Latin: qui tacet consentire videtur, "he who is silent is taken to agree", "silence implies/means consent" is a way of formally adopting texts, often, but not exclusively in international political context. A draft version of the text is circulated among participants who have a last opportunity to propose changes or amendments to the text. If no amendments are proposed (if no one 'breaks the silence') before the deadline of the procedure, the text is considered adopted by all participants. Often this procedure is the last step in adopting the text, after the basic premises of the text have been agreed upon in previous negotiations. 'Breaking the silence' is only a last resort in case a participant still has fundamental problems with parts of the text and is therefore the exception rather than the rule. From Wikipedia It looks like your man is not so wise after all |
