Until Nigeria splits into different countries, the oil in the niger delta belongs to Nigerians. Btw, what happens when GEJ is booted out of office by the electorate? Na by force for GEJ to be there? Even if we all leave the oil for them, they can't manage the resources. Too many selfish millitants. 2 Likes |

Dasini: You mean a society where those that threatened to make the country ungovernable should be locked up or executed for treason, not contesting for presidency? A country where prolific rogues like Tinubu that escaped jail as a result of rogue justice system shouldn't be heading a so-called progressive main opposition party? A country where unjust and irrational quota system allows undeveloped minds to reign? There are so .many fundamental ills in Nigeria that needs correcting for the country to make a headway. |

UnimkeAk: No one wants war, the experience and the aftermath are some of the worst calamities that can befall man. However some people are hell bent on igniting one by their never ending saber rattling. every time someone sneezes, they take it as an affront and declare war. So in a democracy no one has the right to contest elections anymore as long as their messiah is challenged? If your GEJ is all you crack him up to be let the polls settle it then. Why the jitters? We've accommodated their tantrums too long; oil oil oil bomb the north kill the north etc etc. we've been waiting for this mythical war for too long. Is it ever coming, are they just sounding off just to score a 5 minute spot on the national stage? GEJ has to go February 14; if you sore losers cant get over it then take a deep dive in your oil and drown. No one gives a flying frack. If on the other hand nigeria has to work, then the endless threats and name calling have to stop. Either way, bring it on. |

OMAR BANGURA from Sierra Leone has this to tell Nigerians; "I don't think you guys know what you are playing with. You can call each other names and laugh about it now but when you end up inciting hate here as I read through your posts here and a real civil war starts in your country you will regret what you are doing now. Your religious and political leaders are trying to divide you between religious lines and you are helping them do that rather than standing up and say we are all Nigerians never mind our tribe, region or religion. That's the only stand that will save your blessed nation. The foreign powers pushing the government to take certain decisions will abandon you when you start killing one another and reject you from running to their countries so be careful. Our 11 year war in Sierra Leone was not even based on religious or tribal difference and see what we did to our country. The worst conflicts are those based on tribal and religious differences. See Central Africa, Bosnia and Rwanda. To have a better knowledge of this, please watch the documentary/movie called "Hotel Rwanda" or "Sometime in April". My heart bleeds when I read what you guys are saying because I know what this will lead to. You will be the losers all of you whether Christian, Muslim, igbo, yoruba or hausa. Stand as one and save your nation together because you have only one Nigeria that has the potential to lead Africa." PLEASE HELP SAVE NIGERIA AND SHARE THIS TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE my take; Anybody making war threat is an enemy of Nigeria. An enemy to you and I an enemy of our democracy. I stand on my ground to tell you that any cause of war, be it money, oil, political rubbish, religious or tribal differences will be as useless as never before if there should be a breakout of war. I beg the average Nigerian not to consider war as an option because after d war, those that sat down comfortably in their office giving orders are still d same people that will bring their children from oversea to come and rule over you that fought for their position. We are one Nigeria. Nigeria exist before oil was discovered, Nigeria exist before religion came in. Our struggle should be the best in africa then the best in the world. Say no to war! 3 Likes |

BlackTechnology Igbos can't fool us. The entire Ijawland is mobilizing for whats coming ahead just like israel in war time. You igbos're still going about in ur shops doing ur normal thing "dominating shops in no man's land" yet you want to tell me that igbos are "working together" for what will happen after the elections? Let me educate you on certain things kiddo, it doesn't matter who wins come feb 14, the fact remains that 9ja won't remain the same. how prepared are you igbos? Northern troops (in collabo with BH) would be advancing south thru' igboland, make sure non of you cross ur boundary into any ND territory, we won't harbour any igbo refugees. You Igbos are pushing us to war thinking we shall bank on ur "support" WHICH WE'VE NEVER & WILL NEVER ASK FOR. Meanwhile, we're expecting the first round of aggression against Ijawland from igbos over access to the sea and from yorubas over the noisy itsekiris. REMEMBER: first round of Ijaw bullets on igbo as$es, its payback time for biafra's evil |

Kennedymac: Darling, I replied with what I believed would make you happy. I understand the Niger Delta struggle. I feel bad for them what have to go through yet they are left out in the development. But on the other hand can you look into the mirror and say to yourself truthfully that the Niger Delta militants have realised the main aims of their struggle, that their communities are well-developed compare to the pre-struggle period; that the oil companies are managing the environmental pollution much more effectively; that the lucky militants like Asari Dokubo have done to a lot to improve the aggregate welfarism of their people. Were they not the same people that did not think twice before molesting their female folks all in the name of struggle. The earlier you realised that they are just like every other lazy individual. The struggle was for their stomachs and not for their people. Things have changed, oil is no longer the most important 'valuable' resource we all grew up to know. |

ijawcitizen: Face the person who called for your bosses' arrests, the people who have destroyed your means of livelihood for their personal gain and leave Igbos who have proven their significance and resilience out of this. You won't need Igbos indeed. Pay back time for Biafra's evils? Yet your boss Ekpemupolo said this: “Let Gen. Danjuma and his cohorts know that they will not see any Ijaw man, Igbo and others to fight on their side if the war that they are planning breaks out." Who made him a spokesman for Igbos? Why is he dragging Igbos into your mess? Why is he counting on Igbos to not fight on the other side? You won't last 1 year in a full-fledged war, I reiterate. 3 Likes |

@somegirl1 This is the season of psychological pimping darling. He said the truth about igbos not joining the killer of Aguiyi Ironsi although we won't be surprised if they do. We're prepared for the worst case scenario; igbos and yorubas working with the north directly or indirectly. Igbos should be certain of this, even if you take advantage of the window of opportunity to declare your igbo republic, we won't be fighting side by side. We shall shoot at any biafran who run away from defending his biafra in the name of being refugees in ND. But we know they're not intersted in biafra anymore, they need the population of one nigeria to make money from. Once again Igbos can't fool us |
Re: War Threats: Niger Delta Ex-militants Give Danjuma 7-day Ultimatum by BotherMleeper(m): 7:47pm On Feb 01, 2015 |
lastmessenger: We in the north, at least most of us, so not condone such blatant disrespect for the President. But you need to understand the mind set of the poor who'd borne the brunt of BHs rampage. Imagine the President who seemed helpless in degrading BH going to Maiduguri to canvass for support in electing him when Maiduguri even now is under attack. Whether TY condemns BH or not shouldn't be a prerequisite for asking for the arrest of those warmongers down south. We certainly dont need another terrorist group in the south given we can't even contain one in the north. Everyone believes the 2011 riots came about on account of buhari losing the election, and northerners are collectively punished for it. So is it right for the niger delta to claim that GEJ must continue even if he loses? Are they blackmailing everyone to forcefully vote for GEJ? Isnt that another 2011 in the offing? Besides those criminals aren't helping their principal's cause; they place GEJ in a bad light. |
