tatosh: Vote for someone who have no idea whatsoever of what it takes to be a leader? Someone who's not informed? Someone who has no cause attached or linked to his name? Someone who messed up himself when asked about how he intends to ramp up our revenue buy saying he'll stabilise oil prices? Someone who has never been identified for any charitable work, be it in education, scholarship, health, technology, security, has never been called as either a guest, participants or resource personnel in any leadership programme, training or workshop? Someone who's only known in Duara and makes headlines with war, fights, violence, revenge instead of peace, harmony, unity, love? Someone who should be aware of his position today as an Elder Statesman, giving experienced advice and directions (it appears he is bereft of any quality idea). Someone who blew his opportunity while he was the Head of State - the opportunity he took by force and up till today has never apologised for it - yet he is vying for that same position? If you want to campaign for him, first convince yourself before coming to us. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

gregg2: if they had not insisted on sharing, maybe 70BN dollars would have been declared missing. The one that was not shared was looted by GEJ and his cronies. How can 20Bn dollars be missing? GEJ has spent trillions on military and our army is still as clueless as GEJ himself. 3 Likes |

kaboninc: Do not be deceived. The governors asked for their share of the ECA and opposed the SWF because of the antecedents of GEJ. Even gov. Akpabio publicly declared on GEJ's campaign train that they ate the money. Mind you, FG takes 54% of this money. What happened? The governors noticed that at every FEC meetings, the ECA would dwindle by about $1Billion or slightly less without explanations. They became worried so much that they (both PDP and APC govs) appointed their forum leader - Amaechi to request that the money be shared amongst all tiers of Gov't to avoid the day they would meet at FEC and find nothing left in the ECA. NOI is not a saint. She has blatantly refused to release the PwC audit report on the NNPC after making promises to release it by Nov. 2014 and by Jan. 2015. Even if she didn't get a dime of that missing $20Billion (I highly doubt), she is complicit in covering up corruption. Please let us not be deceived. My life has been worse off after 6 years with weaker exchange rate and dwindling power supply. 7 Likes |

Probably you did not read or did not understand what you read. The Federal Government receives about 54% of the oil revenue so why did they not apply thi so called benchmark to their own share. Even with the bench mark in place in the budget which is the law the FG has been breaking the law by sharing the ECA when the governors take their share. Yes the governors are ENTITLED to take their share but there should still be 54% of it remaining WHERE IS IT? Instead the FG has spent it all and BORROWED at an unprecedented rate. NO GOVERNMENT in our HISTORY HAS BORROWED AS MUCH AS THE FG in the last 4 years. No Government has enjoyed as much oil revenue. No Government has had as much money as this government. Where is it? Finally what has the FG done to diversify its sources of revenue? I am sorry we cannot blame the governors and if we must the FG MUST TAKE 54% OF THE BLAME 7 Likes |

tpacalipse:Okonjo was shouting but FG share is 54% where is it why did the FG not lead by example and save theirs? Rather they spent it all and borrowed more. In fact this government has borrowed more than any government in history. At one point they were saying Nigeria is UNDERBORROWING!! Imagine that underborrowing Borrowing when oil prices were high to pay back when prices are Low.Incredible! That is like borrowing when you are 50years old with the plan to pay when you have retired!! 5 Likes |

Mr utomi, we nigerians are found of blaming the government too much especially, the president. Why did he appointed okonjo who had been with the world bank. Note that , the president is not an economist. Was any write up made by you hitheto. After the effect, you can now talk. Think of solutions and stop putting blames on anybody please. 2 Likes |

Should anyone be surprised about such negative comments from an APCheat card carrying member What did Pat Utomi achieve as Economic Adviser to Alhaji Shehu Shagari before that democratically elected government was overthrown by General Muahammadu Buhari? However LIES and distortions do not change the FACTS on the economic performance of this federal administration led by Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Arch. Whoever fought for our independence thought he was doing the right thing, Nigeria are slaves to themselves... Even after independence and freedom, Nigerians are unable to discern for themselves and make the right choices... Until we stop picking holes in government because we ate not a part of it, then Nigeria will get better... Never surrender your conscience to the theory of a majority... 1 Like |

omenka: Good questions you have asked there. The answer is FULANI BORN TO RULE. The leaders are imposed on us unknowingly like Yar Adua with deputy like GEJ. History tends to repeat itself if we did not learn from those history. In 1979, Sheu Shagari was imposed on us. He was a Fulani man from Sokoto state. In 2007, it was Yar Adua, a Fulani man from Kastina state Fast forward, they are looking to impose on us another Fulani man, Bhuari from Kastina state. can you see the pattern. They deliberately want to slow down the south. How can a 72years old grandfather semi illiterate visionless person lead a country like Nigeria. What happened to the likes of Fashola, Oshiomhole , Okorocha and Kwankwaso etc GEJ was an accidental President but better than the alternatives and we need him rather unfortunately to stop the North BORN TO RULE. 4 Likes |

kITATITA: As a stakeholder in one of the Nationalized banks handed over to new owners. I am far better off because I have gotten more opportunities opened due to the Nationalization. As a Nigerian working in Lagos, I have tried to start a small business usin some other pple to run it but when you interface with Lagos State government, you will know it is pay, pay and pay again. As a person I am better off but as a business in this harsh environment, it is far from it at all. 1 Like |
