Watching the Vice Presidential Debate of the so called NEDG and I found it hilarious and stupid that of the 3 debaters, only the candidate of the PDP, Vice President Nemadi Sambo is looking down to his desk often and it is obvious he is reading a prepared chit for the debate cos he seems to have the questions to the Debate already prepared for him and all he is doing is to read it along.

Watch his response and compare to the other two beside him, they are facing the audience when responding while Sambo is always looking to his table as if he is giving a speech.

It is obvious, the APC was right and this debate was a charade all along.

Watching it live and it is hilarious and so funny and daft that they can't teach him what to say despite seeing the questions, he still brought in the Chits into the Hall

Why is being foolish synonymous with the PDP. You were privy to questions and still went ahead to bring in chits into the debate

despite that, they should have allowed it to have some air of Neutrality. You're having a debate on National TV and you're reading as if giving a STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS. Don't they have commonsense in the PDP and the organizers can't even show some sign that it is supposed to be a debate not a SPEECH READING COMPETITION

This whole question of people having questions to debate is nonsense

is there anything asked in political debates other than how your party plans to tackle economic problems, security problems, create jobs.

The answers to these questions are not also exact. It can differ from candidate to candidate

So suggesting a candidate has been given the questions is as stoo.0.pid as it comes. Its a political debate and not a mathematics exam!

It's either the the vice president isn't fully conversant/involved in the government or has not been prepared specifically for the debate by professionals like it's done in USA, either way, he doesn't need to read from a sheet of paper.

The presentation of all contestants are shabby and uncivilized Infact I'm disappointed in ways and manners Lamadi sambo present his manuscripts, he is not charismatic enough to tell Nigerians what his boss has in cooler for youths in terms of employment, security, society infrastructure and empowerment. I think His degrees are questionable. Must he read poo write up for him? This govt is total failure even the so called PhD holder used to read out presentation like primary school pupils. I am looking forward to see a comprehensive debate that contains graphs, calculations and bars which contains a prototype of what our society is expecting in the next four years. GMB should come out with better agenda and promising manifesto that can touch life. Era of funfair is over, to earn our votes we need to see how discipline and reasonable you're.

Do you know what he has in his notes?

Do you know if it is key facts and numbers that are difficult to remember?

Like how many roads completed in the last 4years, like how many megawatts generated in the last 4 years, like how many people have benefited from sure-p or like how many billions have been invested in agriculture.

There is nothing wrong with bringing notes to a debate and this can not be excuse for APC to disrespect Nigerians by not participating.

The only people who enjoyed the debate are state civil servants in Enugu, Onitsha and Awka and a few government workers in Abuja.

Actually one do as u said..but there is need for him at least to flip d paper since he won't know what dey we ask..but when u read directly jus like dt is like u ar expecting the question already.There is also a need for him to to talk without really looking so deep...I watched d debate and I think the op is right.Though we ar not sure but if all things be equal he still need to flip d paper a little as those with expo in exam hall still feel jittery.

Last thing i'll do with my time is to sit and watch Sambo reading debating...Is this how GEJ wants to square up with Buhari? it's laughable to find folks here trying to justify this obvious display of foolishness.

In as much as you try to paint the man black, the opposite is what I saw cos he was really articulate today and talking about reading from a note you should have noticed that he did this when he had to talk about an achievement with numbers e.g from 2000-4500 megawatts of electricity, the actual numbers of barrels lost to vandalism, the amount of money spent on educational sector, the number infrastructural plans, the types of agricultural/rice mills we had.....to me its better to jot down those key figures so as not to make a mistake with those numbers that will then bring the govts achievements into disrepute
