grin Sorry about that. I always try to resolve issues with those guys as quickly & amicably as possible. Low self esteem plagues most Nigeria Police officers so you have to be careful about claiming your right with them especially if you are still quite young. sad

Honestly those guys dont deserve to be alive especialy the once i encounter today. What realy happen was that I was in haste this morning so i decided to cross the express ignoring the pedestarian bridge. Two police men not on uniform just held me that i just comited an offence. They drag me to their station that i have to bail my self with 5000. I told them that I dont have that with me then i heared gbosa on my chick. I recieved more beating when i was claiming right that they dont have the right to slap me because i dint commit any criminal offence, they drag me to the cell that was where I received the 2nd phase of my beating because I was refusing to enta the cell. After every thing i have to give them 2000 before they released me. sad sad sad

Na wa o. The painful thing is that these human rights abuses happen everyday & nothing is done about it.

I'm sorry dude.
It happens @ojota always especially in the afternoon.
2/3 yrs back..
I was heading smwhere I cnt remember again,.got down at Ojota from ikorodu, decided to ignore the bridge and cross the road cos I was in a haste..
After crossing the first lane, some 2men just approached me..telling me to follow them to the vehicle.(ehhn...twas like a film)
I looked up to the vehicle which was some distance away and saw some guys n girls already inside.
I took fate into my hands...jumped into the road without looking @ any oncoming vehicle.I.ws fortunate none was near.I'm sure they were shocked...i ran till I got to whr I was going. (not proud of it tho' but I ld rather take my chances than to follow those guys in black. I so despise them)

Im wiser now.. But the truth remains once you get into the police's web, you shld be ready to part with money, else you ll b treated like a criminal even if you are not.

Last thing I want is to have anything to do with them.
