It is believed that the incoming Buhari administration will increase Nigeria's minimum wage to about 40,000 naira per month within five months of taking over on May 29, 2015. This is because the APC is a progressive party with trade union, labour congress and even moderate socialist elements within the coalition. Their major concern is the masses. The APC leader and People's General is himself known for his love of the masses and his emphasis is on creation of quality jobs for the people. He once said that even PDP can create slavery jobs that pay very little.When the progressive factor is combined with APC's competent team of seasoned economic titans, one can see why minimum wage will increase rapidly. If you believe this,you deserve to go back to school.The reality is that salaries'and allowances will have to be cut this year in the civil service.Already as things are a good number of states can't pay salaries.
