This is actually a very innovative way of communicating and explaining the manifesto/ policies of the incoming administration. This is a far better way of engaging with a sizable section of the electorate. Sai Buhari 230 Likes 13 Shares |

APC teaching PDP how to engage the electorate. The overhyped debate has been demystified by these progressives. Clueless can go and attend his "arranged" debate where he regurgitates scum written to him by FFK and Indomie brain Okukpe #TeamGMB2015 191 Likes 11 Shares |

This is far better than debate. Meet Nigerians one on one and interact with them. APC teaching Jonathan how to campaign properly. 161 Likes 8 Shares |

Yea...this is what they call 'interactive politics'...it will enable the citizen to feel free to communicate with the government, no more behind the scene interactions. 101 Likes 3 Shares |

Lol.. What class of elites still attend 'town hall meetings'??.. Even keke drivers find it outdated. Well, that's where he belongs, amongst the poorly-informed, else he'ld have been better prepared with his certificate issues amongst others. 93 Likes 7 Shares |

This is a POWER MOVE. Very audacious. The APC has rendered the debates useless and increased the mystique of their presidential candidate.. Many town hall meetings should be held in Abuja, Lagos, Enugu and Porharcourt. It is just as important to showcase the party's manifesto as it is to attract ideas from the audience. Let PDP continue with their own drab, poor English debates that I have been painfully watching the past few days. 84 Likes 3 Shares |

2011 GEJ ran away from debate & won, 2015 GMB is not interested in debate & will surely win let Jona go ahead with his arrangee debate, town hall meetings is more than enough for us. Sai Buhari/Osinbajo. 76 Likes 3 Shares |

Hahahahahha. Very smart move to avoid disgracing himself. "...where he will be engaged..." Akuko!!! What does he have that we will engage in?mcheeeeeeeew. A safe harbour for him to hide behind his running mate who will do all the talking. How long does a debate take? An entire millennium? Smh 114 Likes 6 Shares |

DesChyko:people like you are the reason GEJ is fast losing it. Instead of you guys to advice him to follow buhari's campaign style(even when you know you are not smart in establishing new trends), you tell him to carry on with thesame PDP style that has lost him a lot of love. There's no crime in copy copy. I think GEJ is smart enough to know that organizing a town hall meeting like buhari would be disastrous for him, cos he will be stoned when he does it in the north, booed in the SW, hissed at in the SE and kidnapped in the SS. 87 Likes 8 Shares |

eighTHREAD: Oga park well jare.. When GEJ visited the war torn Borno, what did you say? Alakoba ni yen. No be only town meeting. Make he go village square. Nigeria is going global and he's hiding in town halls while the world awaits to see him strut his stuff on TV. Did he forget his brains in 1985? In case you don't know, even backward progress is still change. 93 Likes 10 Shares |

Excellent move. There's absolutely no sense or worth in sitting down debating some clueless, crooked, corrupt, incompetent and unintelligent dullard. Take the message straight to the average Nigerians. This is another brilliant chess move by the APC. They just pulled another rug from their feet...These guys are smart.. #Change#GMB... JonaSaTAn and his losers can have their silly debates.. 45 Likes 2 Shares |

DesChyko: I laugh at you silly. It seems you don't know that the power of vote actually comes from the poorest and low lifers. The elites you mentioned don't have time to vote and prefer to watch from their 100” TV rather than queue for hours to cast vote. So my guy keep laughing. I bet you there is no way GEJ will win without RIGGING 42 Likes 1 Share |

Excellent thinking. This is why I chose APC. Sensible thinking. Whats the purpose of a debate where they just repeat the same thing and argue among themselves Let them go and meet the people they would govern who would ask them UNEDITED questions that concerns them not moderated questions by the media I would suggest they split Osibanjo and Buhari so they can cover more locations in the next 10 days Lagos, Ibadan, Akure(SouthWest), Benin, Port Harcourt, Warri(SouthSouth) Enugu, Onitsha, Owerri(SouthEast), Jos, Minna, Makurdi(NorthCentral) 2 or 3 Cities in each region 35 Likes |
Re: Buhari Begins Town Hall Meetings by GARRIx7(m): 8:02pm On Feb 02, 2015 |
DesChyko: See painment !!!! The essence of the debate is for candidates to tell the electorate what they are bringing to the table. The townhall meetings will serve the same purpose. Jonadunce should go debate with himself... Meanwhile the townhall meetings will be broadcasted by major TV stations nationwide. Once again the APC has proven to be a step ahead of the clueless party... 32 Likes 2 Shares |
Re: Buhari Begins Town Hall Meetings by MyMouth(m): 8:04pm On Feb 02, 2015 |
Gboliwe:Would the town hall meeting not be attended by people? Would questions not be asked and answered? For me the town hall meeting where I will meet the candidate one on one and ask questions and get answers is far better than a televised debate where i would not have the opportunity to ask questions or not even able to watch due to blackout generated by Gej's power companies. Mark my words, generations to come would adopt this model against the normal arrangee debate! 40 Likes 2 Shares |
Re: Buhari Begins Town Hall Meetings by Nobody: 8:05pm On Feb 02, 2015 |
Let those shouting for debate keep shouting.... I said on the debate thread that APC strategists are millions light years ahead of their PDP counterparts.. It was like I was reading the APC guys' minds when I wrote this elsewhere today You guys should stop sounding as if the debate is a matter of life and death or the only way to approach the electorates...if APC want to explore alternative means of reaching the electorates ...so be it..." 28 Likes 1 Share |
