"Like" isn't the right word. It's aesthetic appreciation.

Men are too easily pleased with what they see. The more critical eye for beauty lies with women IMO, hence the reason I now not only prefer getting compliments from other women (for the pure lack of underlying sexual connotation - generally speaking), but I also tend to value the compliments I get from them above all/most others. I can (and do) tell a women she has nice/beautiful *, no problem

And whenever I need/want to look my absolute best and I need some finishing touches of critique, a/my man is literally the last person I'll ask for an opinion.
