No Place For You Youths In Leadership. by Nobody: 9:27pm On Feb 01, 2015 |
I was thinking of the quote, "CHILDREN ARE THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW", and the literal meaning baffled me. I kept on thinking when tomorrow would come so that that I could become it/his/her leader but unfortunately, I am a youth now. I Wondered were tomorrow went that I never had an encounter with it/him/her as a child so I can really know what leadership really is for children and had become an adult and is still expecting tomorow to come so that a child could become tomorrows leader. This made me to come with a conclusion that the literary meaning of quotes can never be applied in this part of the world where youths either hold on to misguided priority or have given up on the need to be the leader that yesterday craved for. |

Since an ol' buhari is not giving place to the youths |
Re: No Place For You Youths In Leadership. by Nobody: 9:56pm On Feb 01, 2015 |
0700Jesse: That could be part of it, but I am more concerned about the youth waiting for leadership to be handed over to them. Leadership in Nigeria is not inherited. It is taken. The problem is that the past 3 generations of Nigeria are not creative or smart. They are as dull as the unemployable Nigerian youth. |

HACKPASTOR: You must be a computer guru. Your Moniker gave me the thought. But if you are an exco of that group, I can never be a part of such group because of your name. People like your moniker is not qualified to be a leader. |

barristerMDGs: its not inherited, but the youths wont dare take it!! The youths count their lives more dear than a political ambition! besides, Everyone wants tha power, |
Re: No Place For You Youths In Leadership. by Nobody: 10:07pm On Feb 01, 2015 |
0700Jesse:It is only a youth that can take the life of a youth. An old man can't stand a youth even when he is less equipped. So youths can take it if they want to but it is only possible when they stop following the unsatisfying money that the old men had stolen in their youth age. I still wonder why an old man should be more active, smart and focus than a youth that they defend and talk about him than they talk about their future. |

Re: No Place For You Youths In Leadership. by Nobody: 10:18pm On Feb 01, 2015 |
HACKPASTOR: The trend that the youths are following which I saw in your Moniker is evident that they are not serious so no one will take them serious no matter how capable they may be. A leader should lead by example. |

barristerMDGs: only a youth can take the life of a youth, but remember this old men can send youth-thugs to take the life of the youth! It only saddens me when i see extremists and bigots vying for votes! |
Re: No Place For You Youths In Leadership. by Nobody: 11:14pm On Feb 01, 2015 |
HACKPASTOR: They say "A good name is better than silver and Gold" it starts with your name. Their is nothing bad in hiding your Identity on the internet yet it has to be something that relate to who you are. Calling it "just an Internet name" does not make it right. |
Re: No Place For You Youths In Leadership. by Nobody: 11:23pm On Feb 01, 2015 |
0700Jesse: That is what I am saying. We feel oppressed by old men while in the real sense, it is the youth that is their fellow youth in the name of thuggery, politics and insurgency like the boko haram. Youth have to grow above living for their stomach and start taking charge of the future of their Kids, else, their children will meet a worst life compared to what they now have as life unless your father is a thieving politician. |
Re: No Place For You Youths In Leadership. by Nobody: 7:04am On Feb 02, 2015 |
barristerMDGs: Some one has spoken thoughtfully. The problem is that most youths are illiterates. Many kept illiterate by religion while many others are kept illiterate by poverty and wrong reasoning. Overcome this and you would overcome anything. |

That is what Jonathan is trying to do. to give the youth their place. vote for Jonathan. |
Re: No Place For You Youths In Leadership. by Nobody: 7:17am On Feb 02, 2015 |
victorels: The journey to overcome this is too great. It can only start from revolution in religion and revolution in education. The first step can not be taken by a youth. It has to be taken by the old men that are still holding youths ransom as political campaigners. |
Re: No Place For You Youths In Leadership. by Nobody: 7:24am On Feb 02, 2015 |
clevvermind: Well the Nigerian youths are not smart enough to receive what Jonathan is giving them. Every body want a place to work in. Very little number is creative to think of a way of creating a place where people would work. Jonathan cant do more than he is doing unless the government decide to go into public enterprise and not a joint venture that government will be spending with no benefit from the venture. |

Buhari enjoyed his youth. He was head of state of Nigeria at a youthful age of 41 years. Today at 72 years, Buhari wants youth to hail him again. Nigerian youths, when will your tomorrow come? The annoying thing is that more educated youths than Buhari are at the vanguard of Buhari presidential ambition. Youths should seize this period to say no to grand papa taking their chance. 1 Like 1 Share |

jamace: "One is old if one chose to be" Buhari can chose to be young. There is no offence in that. In fact, 85% of his supporters are youths. My only gross with his supporters is that they are people who feels hopeless and feel Buhari is their only hope. I wish them Goodluck in their fight of selecting a saviour for themselves. If they believed in God, they would have asked Him to send another saviour. |
