I have always had contrary opinions to our military strategies in curbing Boko Haram. Many times we hear Boko Haram attacking cities and probably being resisted by the military or the cities are captured and controlled. To me, it seems the military is not taking the fight to them, probably waiting for Boko Haram to attack.
