Swiftboy: Dont be like Buhari that prefar to strenghten the naira and avoid debt thus councelled the cool things Shagari has paid for. You're ranting but you did not put our population into consideration. Basic fact is that our production may have grown at arithmetical progression but our population have grown by geometric progression. The implecation of self-reliance as a nation is that there will be employment as more people will go into the business such that the supply into the market will exceed or be sufficient enough for exportation. The same goes for vehicles...should our country be a dumping site for used cars when you can buy Nigerian made cars cheap? Just use train as you safe up for your own Nigerian made BMW when they start production or assembly. 4 years is not enough forget campaign talks. Inosons will be forever grateful for such policies. By the time all the auto companies realize just how fertile our economy is,they'll invest because Nigeria is the ideal hub for Aafrica or at least west Africa. In the long run,its for the benefit of the poor cos they're the ones that cant afford brand new cars. Think outside of the box.lol Your thinking is not even inside the box so don't bother thinking outside, else you will run mad. How will your GP populace even compete favorably in employment creation when Mr President has continued to allow Nepotism in all recruitment exercises? Even immigration death did not compel him to do something about nepotism.
How do you expect a jobless Nigerian to buy your made in Nigeria Nissan? what is the overhead cost of running Nissan Nigeria and how does it translate to the cost of a Nissan patrol?

Why will Jonathan not have saboteurs when he has refused to enthrone consequence management in his administration? we see what GEJ is not doing right we say, well, but when the consequence comes out we say it is not his fault, how many people have been jailed since this administration? how will someone not sabotage your efforts when he knows that the last person who ended up in jail got a presidential pardon?
You are now complaining about Sabotage but you don't blame the president for not enthroning consequence management.
You mentioned professionalism, let me start with the military, how do you expect them to be professional when "man know man" is the order of the day? is that not nepotism a sub set of corruption? even with over 13,000 Nigerian lives gone, the commander in chief is yet to wake up. Look at Chad, they celebrated Boko haram free, since Oct last year or so, today, they have 700 soldiers in Cameroon and 500 helping us, is that not shameful enough for Mr president to resign?
Ordinary Chad whose Air force is not as big as our presidential fleet? Chad whose soldiers can not afford bullet proof vests? Chad who has 38,350 soldiers against Nigeria with 130,000? If you are objective you should know that corruption is a cancer with huge chain consequence, once you allow it to thrive, every other sector will collapse.
Where will professionalism come from? in the oil and gas after GEJ and his friends enthroned their Local content policy, his Nigerian friends stopped training their Nigerian workforce, gone are the days when you join an Italian company and tomorrow you are in Milan, the Nigerian content refused to do that, so even if you do a $5b project annually for 100yrs in the industry, you will still source man power and expertize abroad, how will professionalism come when that corrupt practice is allowed to thrive?
Bart Nnaji brought an idea that was about to transform the power sector, Balkanization and privatization of power assets, where is he today? if Barth a professional was not allowed to man our power assets, how is that sector going to attract technocrats and investors? since he left, how many companies are still serious about our power assets?
Nigerians are begging for debate because they can afford to stand on the window of a viewing center but they forgot that GEJ organizing the debate could not provide any electricity for them.
Jonathan is ruthlessly corrupt.
Tell me any sector where you operate and i will give you facts where Jonathan has finished you, even the railway you guys are glorifying, with sub standard trains and non standard guages, if you know how General electric became Nigeria's largest locomotive vendor you will stone GEJ in the next rally, I know most people never knew that Schneider and Siemens actually wanted to buy the real trains for Nigeria.
Remove Ignorance from Nigerians and Jonathan will not win Otuoke LGA.
your assumptions are based on corruption as the reason Jonathan achievements should not be considered, even if he comes up with policies that will make the economy thrive in a short while. Nigeria has continued to be a bigger country with bigger problems against all efforts to make her one of the biggest economies in Africa. Corruption in the country is more complex than what unilateral decision of only the President can successfully address and get rid of in Nigeria. It has to be resolved by a more complex means. Constitution's provision must be so harsh against corruption and more scientific approaches should be deployed to tackle it. I don't think arresting people and locking them up as witnessed in the previous administrations has ever stopped corruption. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Whose watch are you benchmarking these stats with?
I know they are humans and all precious but nobody except God has 100% control over death
It would be good both parties are objective during their campaigns and talks; it would help us all
If supporters of both parties can be objective, it actually lends credence to their points rather than GMB is evil or GEJ has done nothing Supporters should also learn how to keep quiet or point out when their candidate errs.
It is disgusting to read someone support something that is clearly wrong.
Peace to Nigeria Now you want to compare death toll? relative peace time Vs full blown war? of course, such thesis gave Jonathan a PhD, why am I not surprised?

Swiftboy: To say that corruption is only this administration is a big lie. People have been stealing our cash since! Now that there's freedom of information,we know then its Goodluck's fault. One thing that is not right about Goodluck's stand on corruption is that he'll not jail at all because corruption is not about money alone as is the case of you mentioned regarding contracts. My brother, the idea of not entrusting cash in people's hand is applaudable. You should consider that the lagos-ibadan express way was reawarded...you dont know the scam in these construction contracts. Contractors do leave project after the administration is over. Thats why we should let these project complete before so these man can come back to taste the jail he did not put people. After his immunity is over,we'll punish the offender. But truth is 4 years is not forever in a nation's life. Again its wrong to price contracts like commodities.little wonder these contractors are coming to make billions as donation. Lets not get angry yet. In fact lets vote him back into office...the time to punish this man has not come. People have been stealing so Jonathan should continue stealing right? News flash! I hate APC but I love Buhari with a passion, whatever will stop stealing is what I am rooting for, as for Tinubu, I feel so sorry for him daily as Buhari grows in popularity, Buhari, will be tinubu's worst mistake, mark my words, If Tinubu wants to know his fate under Buhari, he should ask IBB. 1 Like |

All previous administrations were not free of corruption. We can't do justice by putting all blames on President Jonathan. Widespread unemployment is due to negligence of past administrations. They were a failure because they didn't make adequate provisions for subsequent generations from enormous resources. All of them mismanaged county's resources. 1 Like |
