The quran teaches the sun goes to a pool of muddy water when it sets. ..
Isn't that laughable..

Modern translations put in bracket "as if".. they add to the quran as if they know more than alllah. .

Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness."

This is just one of many fables in the quran.

Have you heard of a man who had died for 100 years and without any purpose allah raised him alive?

He isn't goin to be able to tell u anything. He sends u to go read from his scholars as if they give a sensible explanation. this is the Muslims predicament. The quran says it is clear several times in its verses yet it is filled with stark contradictions and silly stories .. It even says sp.erm comes from the waist area among many other scientific fallacies.

So abuamam will say go to my scholars for explanation and exegesis of early muslim commentary just to justify a silly claim by the quran.. Mohammed tot the sun sets in muddy water because at that time humans tot the world was flat hence if the sunsets to cool down it should be in water.


Abuamam why are u still a muslim. If u can't defend ur book with ur "wealth" of knowledge why are u still a muslim.

What struck me are the Islamic claims that men who lived before Mohamed were Muslims. The other one is, contemporaries of Mohammed thought the sun set in a pool and it NEVER crossed their minds that the place where the sun settles in murky waters is allegorical,figure of speech and other shady excuses we hear. It is ONLY when somebody realized the idiocy of this verse that they tried to explain it away
