rooney wasn't that bad today to be honest. he showed for the ball and contributed his own quota. i didn't like the way he kept getting in paddy's way in the first half but he quickly sorted it out in the second half.

fellaini, paddy, smalling, rojo were very impressive. i won't include daley blind because he's 50,000 times more intelligent than any player in the squad. he gives 9/10 performance all the time.

I don't understand what Odunharry meant Rooney crosses were not going through. He had just one blocked cross when he played mostly on the right in the fist half. All his crosses went through. In the second half he made some wrong passes in the middle of the park. Wrong passes are different from dispossession.
